Ok then...better to carry another key than another battery. It is what it is. Nice to have, but not a deal breaker. If @pushkar can work some magic and the battery manufacturer is the same, maybe they can figure out a way to use the same cylinder.

But if you get two integrated batteries instead of downtube battery, that's one less key to worry about. 🥛

@Ayl , how hard do you have to work on Eco 1? Most Bosch, Yamaha, or Shimano motors on eco1 is decent but not a lot of power. 50 miles on lowest setting for those motors would have the average rider pretty pooped at the end of the ride.

I’ve actually contacted Haibike couple of months ago to source a kickstand. They are slow in their response but they do eventually get back to you. I think there’s also a phone number that you can call.

They kinda cheaped out on the components based on the specs.

Which Haibike model did you buy? I also have a Haibike and have not experience any issues. I’m sure there are Haibike dealers in CA. Warranty claims don’t need to necessarily go through the same vendor where you purchased the bike. Any authorized dealer should be able to do warranty claims.
