    Thought about it, but ... I couldn't use a front hub drive because most of the weight is on the rear wheel. Bafang rear 26" wheels are in the $700-$800 range, without battery/controller/etc., mids aren't cheap either. By the time you get all the parts &etc, you end up with a spit & baling-wire...
