    Welcome from Omaha

Congrats and welcome to the forum. The Trek Allan is a great bike. Although you may not hold a speed of 28 mph, at least the Class 3 motor drive won't cut out at 20mph. Enjoy. Lots of good stuff to found on the forum.

People won't buy EV's if gas is $2.00 a gallon. Sounds like a strategy to me.

New Como 5.0 Rock Shock fork not working

Bummer! It's very unfortunate that SRAM doesn't send you out a new fork. You know they have to have them sitting in stock.

First time buyer - commuter hybrid for a short*rse!

If possible, I would test ride as many bikes as you can't your hands on. Not sure what your local LBS situation is where you live. Bikes are still a little scarce here. Ive learned by experience, push your budget as far as possible. I'm a believer you get what you pay for in the ebike world...

No throttle and no way home today... :(

Never fun when your stuck out on the road! I had a Rad in the past with a throttle but find my self using the throttle more than pedaling. Kind of miss the bike now and then. It was a fun bike for short trips around town.

New : Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Belt Drive

A while back when I was riding very technical MTB trails in Colorado I purchased a Specialized Turbo Levo Comp with a lot of torque. My friend purchased the lighter Levo SL model. at the same time. In hindsight, I wished I had purchased the lighter SL model. For technical riding, I prefer a...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I removed my rear fender off my Vado SL EQ which supports the rear rack. Does anyone know where I can get a support that will hold the front of the rack to the frame area behind the seat post?

    A new Vado 5.0 with Como 5.0 handlebars-an experiment

I'm sure you exhausted your resources to find a similar after market handle bar but I was wondering if there is something very similar out in the market to try.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

After riding my new SL, I am happy making the switch from my Turbo Levo Comp. Love the lightness and agility of the SL. The Future Shock 1.5 smooths out the Texas chip seal rides here. I removed the fenders/ rack for the time being and will soon go with tubeless gravel worthy tires. I have zero...
