My rear wheel has a wobble in it...

What @mrgold35 said. Make sure it's the wheel that's wobbling and not a poorly seated tire giving that impression. I've made the mistake of looking at the tire while free spinning and thinking the wheel was out of true when it was really the tire not seated well.

My Supercells and Surly Rigid Fork are in

Awesome! Just got my first flat on Friday and on the rear wheel too. Hawaii has its own version of goathead thorns called kiawe, and one got me. Fortunately, the Supercell did a pretty impressive job of holding back the thorn and it just nicked the tube. I didn't lose any air pressure until I...

My Supercells and Surly Rigid Fork are in

I love my Supercell tires and I just locked out the stock suspension fork on my 2018 RadRover. Had a guy in his truck ask me at a red light if the tires made a difference in the ride, and I told him "Smooth as silk." Running mine at 18 PSI.

    New Hollywood Ebike Hitch Rack

The Hollywood rack accepts an extension that allows for 2 more bikes to be carried. If you look at CodyDog's first pic, you can see the square reflector on the rack below the bike's chainring. This reflector pulls out to allow for the extension. I'm going to see if I can mount a brake light...

    New Hollywood Ebike Hitch Rack

I got the same one last week off of Amazon. Usually buy through etrailer.com but couldn't beat the free Prime shipping plus I had some Amazon points to help offset the price. The rack is a beast, but it takes one to haul one. ;) I won't be one-arm slinging this into the receiver hitch on the car...

    Dealing with city intersections

Straying off topic for a moment, I used to live in Rural Hall, NC before moving back to Hawaii. Never even considered commuting by bike and being only 4 miles away from work I should have. I guess my mindset didn't change until I faced the terrible traffic congestion here. I sure miss the short...

    Dealing with city intersections

Hawaii just passed a law that requires motorists to maintain no less than 3-feet of clearance when passing a cyclist. Another law that only courteous drives are going to follow. Good luck getting the police to enforce it unless they're behind the car that doesn't oblige. I've started to notice...

Not getting pedal assist power, and intermittent throttle response

Does your bike have the GearSensor attachment that cuts the motor briefly when shifting? If so, check that connection too. It's usually spliced in on the rear shifter cable just before the derailleur.

    RADMINI-Stock speed upgrade?

The LCD display manual that came with my RadRover gave instructions on how to change max speed and wheel size. This YouTube video explains the process.

    My avatar photo

Sorry for missing your new avatar. Don't forget the BBSxx mid-drive when you get done refurbishing it. A front hub would look great if it would fit. :p

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

If they didn't fold them they're wire bead tires, which should hold up better.

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

What tires are you getting? I love my Origin8 Supercell, and I know there are others who have gone to the VeeTire Speedsters with good results for road travel.

RadRover no longer goes 24.7mph anymore..

Changed the tire size on my 2018 RadRover from the default of 26 to 28 and now the speed and mileage is nearly spot-on with my Garmin Forerunner GPS.

Considering the Yukon 750 for my first ebike. Need some advice.

Ended up with a 2018 RadRover with 5 PAS levels. I'm 220# and I can tell you that I use PAS 1 and 2 during most of my commute to work because that route is pretty flat with 1 long upward slope that I'll use PAS 3 or 4 on. Coming home, I use PAS 3 and 4 because I go a shorter route with hills. I...

Good (Single) Pannier - Direct From China (AliExpress)

@PowerMe What's the tube diameter of your rear rack? Any problem with heel strike? Might have to check this out for my RadRover. I've got a Topeak trunk bag with the roll up panniers, but even with the rain cover the fat tires kick up enough water to soak the underside of the panniers.

Adding a throttle to non throttle bikes?

So I understand correctly, it sounds like you only want the option to pedal unassisted by the motor throttle at will Did I get that right?

Could there be a way to list where we live?

I would say that are several here that know my real name because of private conversations I've had with them. I've never had anyone use my real name in a public post and likewise I would never use anything but their screen name.
