    CrossCurrent S - New Model

for me its a safety thing. I don't' feel like people can see me if they are parked and opening doors or pulling out... The last thing I want is a "door prize" on the way to work. Andy

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

for me its about commuting to work.... the first week i rode in... i went as fast as i could pedal\with assist.. it was fun.. but Venice\ Santa Monica is no fun with Ahole drivers (uber etc...) so I cruse about the aforementioned 18-22 mph. gets me there safe... Andy

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

I'm not mechanic but i'm getting you'll need to adjust your brakes and calipers if you go with a thinner rim?? or offsets to keep the disc in the same place. just a thought to consider... give them a call and ask?

Rode a few ebikes today, need help about brake performance

I love my CCS and will echo the hydraulic brakes. Additionally the torque sensor in my opinion is the way to go... I typically have it on the highest level of assist when I commute and when i am going slow and pedaling slow...I get an appropriate amount of assist versus the blast of the "S"...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I think yes and no.... I had concerns about servicing the bike I bought. But Sam at Electronic Bicycle Center (in Fullerton CA, yes its a plug because he's awesome) said that he can fix just about anything on the bike as he's been in the ebike business for 9+ years. And he said if I needed a...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Bummer, sucks the LBS should support you more and at least contact Juiced as well. Try calling at noon your time that's 9am over in CA. Unless you are in school to be an electrical engineer I would not open it up...that will also void your warranty with Juiced ( if they ever get back to you)...

Caveat emptor: my experience preordering with Juiced Bikes

I think the problem is that they had 2 major bikes in development and for whatever reason they are not or can't expand their operations on the support front. This is troubling but hopefully for those who purchased bikes (myself included) I hope they pull through this rocky road and listen. I...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I'm assuming you put in a support ticket. Juiced is in California so its best to call them during California business hours. Here is there number from their web page. Juiced Bikes 1085 Bay Blvd, Suite B Chula Vista, CA 91911 Tel: 1-888-303-8889 Additionally you have an added benefit that you...

What bike BEST suits my needs?

I'm a bit confused on your requirements....you mentioned "It will be used for about 60 miles per day and folded many times." and "Rideability - I'll be using the motor almost exclusively, so it's only for emergecies and not particularly important either." So do you intend to pedal at all? So...

    CCS battery charger compatibility?

I have not. I'd like to take BallzOne up on his offer just can't do it right now. I'll probably go with his when I'm ready if its still available or order one from Juiced. I can't spend 350 on a charger. I don't want to damage my battery with another brand charger that also might void the...
