Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

I got my motor/ display updated today but it now shows my wheel size as 2000 mm in MC?

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

28+ mile ride GPS Blevo. Findings inconclusive. Difference to small to tell. GPS was spot on with display. Same with max speed. Changing the wheel size created real miles vs adjusting to miles if wheel was set to 90.3" from the beginning. That didn't help. GPS still matches the display with the...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

I made a mistake in saying closer. I should of said larger. 1.01 larger. I had a look in BLEvo. According to BLEvo 2268 converts to 89.3. As close as you can get to 89.29 in the App. Same with 88.8 being as close as you can get to 88.7 to convert it 2255. So the LBS set the other person's Vado 5...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Okay. Going to do experiment. Changed wheel size. To 90.3" per website instruction. Going to use GPS to test the accuracy of it. Closer to other person' s Vado wheel size of 89.29.

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

This would seem to be more accurate in estimation. 2293 wheel circumference.

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Notice wheel size was adjusted BLEvo to 88.8" MC 88.7. Only a tenth of a difference but makes BLEvo more accurate by .003. Looking at all now they appear to be the same because it's only showing to the tenth. So not a big difference I'm sure. 51-622 reports wheel circumference as 2255 for the...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

I just found this from a website. 700 x 47 has larger wheel circumference than MC reports. Let me check out what BLEvo read more accurately to the display.

Also, the triggers I had on before were slightly off from my display according to 2255. I changed it in BLEvo to 88" and then converted it to metric which made BLEvo more accurate to the display than MC by .003. Not a huge difference but more accurate than MC.

Okay. I just had a closer look. On the sides of these Electraks it says 700 x 51 c and 51-622. Psi 30-65. Yours are 47-622? 89.26 is 1/2 more than what my Triggers were wheel size. Also, these Electraks are 29 × 2.0" So there is a difference. Just wondering if its the 1/2 inch wheel...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Currently my wheel size is set same as yours. The screenshot of the other person's 5.0 Vado is larger than ours. I was wondering what type of tires and or rims that makes his wheel size different than ours. Just curious. When it stops raining I will head over to lbs to get motor/display update...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

I can't say I agree or disagree with☝ because my Electrak 2.0 are (700 -51). That's actually the size the Specialized dealer recommended for me to get for my 2019 Turbo Vado 5.0. Larger then the stock (700-47) triggers that they came with. I do believe when they update my display they will...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Cool. The chain you noted is the one he was going to install but said not needed for awhile. He did say it was latest superior to the one I have on there. Correct a lot of those 2200 miles have been in unassisted. I take care when shifting gears as well. Not mashing down on the pedals either...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Electraks 2.0 are on my Vado now. Noticed riding back from the LBS it seemed to be a little more comfortable ride than the triggers. It was windy out but I didn't hear any noise coming from the tires. Appearance wise 700 x 51, tires' diameter are noticeably larger than the triggers. I couldn't...

Specialized Trigger vs Schwalbe Marathon E Plus

Just ordered Specialized Electrak Armadillos 2.0, 700×51c. $104 total for both tires after promo and taxes. I've got 2200 miles on the triggers but they are already going bald and flat in the middle. I never had a flat or puncture with the triggers. Too bad the tires are not made for...

Known Issues & Problems with Specialized Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Looks like Turbo Vado 5.0 has a couple of updates according to MC. That's one thing BLEvo doesn't do. 😜. Looks like for the display and motor. Everything is working good right now. What to do? If it breaks something connecting to MC and BLEvo I'll be unhappy.

Apparently not so simple. Something is going on. That Iphone 11 could very well be the culprit. Due to upgrades, people have reported their newer flagship devices stopped working with these apps. Especially, when Android 10 dropped. Now we have 11. Search the forums for solutions. Not to say...

Known Issues & Problems with Specialized Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Something is amiss IMO if he is having issues with both MC and BLEvo as an owner of a LEvo. Old generation LEvo, several changes, motor, battery etc. That could have a lot to do with it.
