For all those folks who own or are contemplating purchasing a R&M supercharger for touring , take note that you will need to protect the rear pannier rack if using pannier bags , the paint easily rubs off , i use Ortlieb carriers and they have worn the pain off , my bike is approx 7 months old ...

i dont have a chain, its a gates carbon drive belt , and no where near the rear supports of the rack

Many thanks, bike sure holds it well, the balance is awesome, especially down hills and getting well over 100 miles per day in Eco mode on superb purpose built bike lanes .

personally , i wouldn't attach my phone to the Kiox, I run a lime fuel battery pack which i then use to charge my phone , mp3 etc

Thanks for that info , sounds about right , had the same with previous 26ins wheel steel touring bike with Rohloff gear hub running Schwalbe supreme tyres, just getting used to these new larger tyres and wasn't to sure if their was any difference !
