When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

You won't find a good ready made kit. There is a slight difference between carry along tool kit vs a complete kit. Focus on the must have carry kit if you are riding far from home distances that would bother you to walk the bike back. There is a huge difference in mechanical skill and...

When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

Front axle 15mm, rear 18mm (to accommodate the power through cable), allen wrenches 5mm, 4mm and rarely needed 3.5 for the slider latch that keeps the main latch from accidentally opening.

When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

No tools needed to assemble. No tools come with it. I'll post the sizes here in a few.

    Need suggestions for tire replacement

I'm pretty sure at 28mph that 8oz of slime in the tire is not an issue. But to fill enough in the much larger car tire to be effective guessing 32oz at 70mph is likely why it's not recommended for cars.

    Need suggestions for tire replacement

I have the Kenda Kraze from Rad on my xp they work way better on hard surfaces and loose packed dirt trails with a better ride, grip, plus less resistance and noise they fill up to 35 psi too I'm at the beach in Florida and they do ok in the moist firm sand but not as good as the knobbie CST...

Need to carry two bikes in a Tesla

23 1/4" for the primary CST 20x4 Tire Lectric uses the most. Should be real close on the alternates as well. Very little difference between brands of 20x4 Knobby tires .

Need to carry two bikes in a Tesla

The bikes do not come with a latch to keep them in a folded position. Bungees don't hold tight enough. I found these hook & loop straps with metal buckle to work well. They are also super handy to use with the cargo rack on the Lectric. 24" is what I use the most, sometimes the longer 36"...

Need to carry two bikes in a Tesla

I can barely fit two in my KIA Soul, one in the back cargo area, one in the back seat. Both folded up, handle bar stems pulled from bike (not just folded down), seat & seat post pulled too. IDK if this helps you any but maybe you can pull of the same with one in the trunk and one in the back...

    Tubeless Tire

Slime or I like Flatout a bit better since it doesn't harden over time, just add a little more once annually. Tannus Armour liners look good too. Going tubeless requires new wheel sets (rims, spokes, tires) all compatible with tubeless set up, IMHO it's not a financially logical thing to do on...

Ultimate DIY Milk Crate Storage System Upgrade 2.0?

Depends on what you are carrying. Anything electronic especially with a display can be damaged with strong magnets. Metal objects can be magnetized or de-magnetized (tools) with unintended results. I also doubt it would be secure enough crossing gutters, speed bumps, curbs, driveways etc. The...

Ultimate DIY Milk Crate Storage System Upgrade 2.0?

My favorite cargo straps are hook and loop straps with a metal buckle 24" and 36" length. I found that using bungee straps allowed for too much jiggling around and eventually things slipping out Get more than enough here...

Has anyone converted to a skinny rim/tire setup?

Not something that is simple. The spacing on dropouts are wider to accommodate the fatter axle, rim, tire, motor. You would have to replace them all and fabricate some type of shim on each side of the wheel to keep it centered in the dropouts. If you want a economical hybrid style and bike...

Known Issues & Problems with Lectric eBikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

If it is on the top tube/battery hinge then there is a small black allen screw that engages the little sliding lock on silver latch. The picture shows the plain side sticking up to engage the slider lock once the hinge & latch is closed. The opposite/underneath side can be accessed with a 3mm...

Just me? So hard to pull trigger!

I have the standard bike and pretty bad hip issues. I'm not able to swing my leg over the seat and rear of the bike but I'm easily able to pull my foot and leg in front of the seat up over the top tube. The stand over is actually pretty low at only 24". If you can lift your foot 24" above the...
