@Rickman1 ; You will indeed enjoy if not love your ALE. I had one of the initial production ones (it was recently stolen) and it was a wonderful ride. While I have a 2022 DASH on order, do expect there is another ALE in my future.

Have only owned the Aurora LE. Would say shut off is smooth, have never experienced the jerks / feet off pedal issue you noted.

Like I said, mine has the noise or "a noise" but I don't really pay attention all that much. Am more aware on slow 7 MPH, steep PAS-5 hills. I've not mentioned this sound to Evelo support.
