I can honestly say I've never smelled perfume or cologne on a ride and when I ride, I am on bike paths and usually around other riders. I don't even wear perfume or after shave on a non riding day! Maybe that's why I cant get a date!

I can do most fixes since I grew up riding bikes, mini bikes and motocross bikes. You tend to have to learn how to do the basics if you want to go riding with the boys. These days as my teeth lengthen, I tend to do the basics here at home and anything strenuous or difficult that I cant figure...

Couple things I noticed were the 4 had Sun Tour front suspension (meh) and 2 piston brakes. The 5 has Rockshox and 4 piston.

Huge difference in components between 4.0 and 5.0. Not so sure the 4.0 is a great deal at 2800...

I also ordered a Frey CC and had it for about 6 months. It was also fine-just a little heavy for this old guy. I still really like my Espin Sport (discontinued) for leisure rides and my Ride 1 Up Gravelster is a great exercise bike. Right now, no bike will work as it's been pushing 115...

Not sure if that bike is the best way to "wet your whistle" into ebikes. Stick with Lectric, Ride 1 Up, Aventon or Espin. I have had bikes from all mentioned and have been quite pleased. If you are not mechanically inclined, go visit your LBS...

I believe it would be based on where the bike is shipped. I bought one for around that same price from Lectric and they shipped to my home in CA and the tax was approx 9%. I would budget between 7-10%.
