Thanks Sparky! That's what I was wondering. There's a lot of products out there, and it's hard to know what's needed or even useful. I google and YouTube a lot, but bike parts seem to be something you can't find good answers to - on some things. Thanks again!

You guys have a lot more experience than me, but I know if you have a picture or sample of the color you need, sometimes home depot can color match the paint. I don't know if they would have car-type or bike-type paint though.

Thanks for the reminder. I had tried this once on the verve and it helped a lot since the bike is so heavy. I never thought of using this to get up stairs though! Whoever thought of that is a genius... I kind of want to try it, just to see it in action

I watched a YouTube video on this recently, and the guy said you can loosen the spokes around the broken one, to help you get home without further damage. I don't know if it works though. Of course then you'd have to bring it straight to the shop for repairs...
