    An other advantage is the 350 Watt motor, no need for derestricting, and your are streetlegal. You can (must in the netherlands) insure the bike as a speedpedelec (liability). If you do not, the costs in case of an accident could be imense. It's definitley worth the extra 1200 CAD!

    Just installed my Planet3 ring and wow, that was an easy way to derestricting my bike ( a Vado 4.0) I highly recomment the Planet3 for everyone who wants a bit more speed :)

    Are you sure this will work? Does it keep working in the longer run? It might be so that the Vado software detects a mismatch between the number of accu load cycles and miles driven.
