Thank you! I will compare them for sure as a follow-up to this thread. Wouldn't it be ironic if I concluded that I should have just gotten two 4.0s? I think the 4.0 has landed and is being put together at LBS and the 5.0 might be a week out.

I’m really sorry you have to deal with a difficult local rep- I have yet to find out what I am dealing with locally once my bike is ready. Wishing both of us luck!

LOL, I will ride my Vado when it arrives! Specialized ships to LBS for assembly. Too much time between order and actual riding- thus, the continued contemplation and analysis. But between you, Jessy1 and Rene at Specialized, I’m free to just get excited about the 4.0!

Thank you! The 5.0 just isn’t available so I went with the 4.0 and bought the radar separately for $140. The 4 vs 5 price difference now is $700 so I hopefully I’ll have no regrets!
