How much difference does a 48V battery make in this scenario? The Dealer said he'd let me upgrade from my 36V if I pay the difference. Do you think that's something I should do?

Update: Just spoke with Rakesh. Apparently, the "Cruise" enabled Consoles now stay in Cruise mode and you don't have to toggle them off and on anymore. He also said that it's normal for the Throttle to stop at 20 MPH. So the problem with the Pedelec is definitely in the settings and he assures...

Probably not. I was thinking of getting Win 8 mainly because that's what my son has on his PC. I can buy Parallels with Windows 7 as well if that would work better. Sounds like it works fine on your rig so maybe that's the way to go. I'll look into Boot Camp and see if that's any easier than...

My son has a PC and it's connected to our Network, but with a Cable , not wirelessly. It does not have a WifI capability. Will it still it still be able to connect to the Motor or does it have to have a WiFi card?

I think if I hang in there and let Rakesh help me set up the parameters the way I want them, I'll end up being very happy with it. Another owner told me that the default settings are optimized for battery not power. Rakesh helped him set it up and he's really happy with it. So thank goodness...

Well it's not going well so far. I got the Falco kit installed but it's been having various problems for the last 3 weeks. Finally got it to work, but it's still not working right. I have another email out to Falco... Hopefully they get back to me. :(

No joy. I've tried pressing both buttons for one second, two seconds, ten seconds,., and it's not changing from Cruise mode no matter what I do. Update: Took it to the Gym and it works really well. Sometimes... Other times it seems like it's not helping much at all even in +5 mode. I think it's requiring too much torque from the rider before it kicks in, or possibly I'm just expecting too much. If I put it into Turbo Mode it's great. I...
