    BBS02 100km range

What is it that I don't get about setting up this BBS3 750w motor? I see users posting low watt usage as low as 98? Is it stable 98w those guys are getting or are watts fluctuating a lot like on my bike? The display never shows watts below 400w and it keeps fluctuation between 400 and over 850...

Actually, I have both a 750w and a 1000w which are both giving a very low range.

    BBS02 100km range

I'm saying that the bike provides power even when I am pedaling, no matter my settings. As for my tires, the manufacturer's recommended pressure is between 5 lbs and 30 lbs. I increased the pressure in my tires up to 25 lbs. My wife has a bike with exactly the same frame, same tires and a 500w...

    BBS02 100km range

HI I understand that our bikes are completely different, mine being a lot heavier than yours and I am probably heavier than you too; total weight of my bike and myself: 265 lbs. But the range you are posting for your bike is quite impressive. I have the same BBSHD 1000w as you and a 21 A battery...

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

I'm using 48v batteries. I guess there is no need to lower the current setting for both motors. Better keep it at 25 A and 30 A respectively?

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

Both motors are physically identical. I suppose this is good news for me. Thanks for checking that up.

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

Thanks for taking the time to explain that clearly. You may wonder why I don't seem to know what motors are in my two bikes; the reason is I ordered the bikes from a Chinese supplier who installed the motors on the bikes as well as all the other components. The only info I was given was that I...

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

I understand what you are saying but is my 750w motor a real BBS3 which, as you said, is a more robust motor? Or does it depend on the controller attached to the motor?

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

As you can see on my screenshot, It was taken from Bafang Web Configuration Tool and it does show 25 A current for the 750 w and 30 A on the 1000w I also have. I thought the BBS3 was only 1000w.

Hi What motor are you using: 750w or 1000w? What is your limit current? I'm using 18 for my 750w motor. Thanks

BBS*** Settings for a Smoother Ride

Hi Is it reasonable to think that you could get a 40 mile range out of your 11 A battery with the settings posted here? If I use your settings on my 750 w motor, Pas 1 is way too fast to ride around pedestrians as it qucikly gets to my 33kph maximum limit. How many watts are you using on PAS 1...

    BBS02 100km range

Hi Tires are 26x4 inflated at the 20 lbs manufacturer receommended. Total weight including fat myself is 260 lbs. Riding speed with around 650 w draw is around 31 km/ph, PAS 1, gear 6 or above. Speed limit is set at 100% on all 9 levels, that is 33 kmph. What kind of range are you getting with...
