I never knew these bike tour companies existed... I spent the last 2 hours reviewing some of their websites - so very cool stuff. Thank you.

Love the covers... do you cover your gears or shifter? Also, I just noticed you have a "Steer Saver" on your bike. Does that prevent the wheel from turning while storing the bike? Keeping the wheel locked in place while loading and unloading the bike would be ideal.

Haven't tried Little Miami or down in the Cincinnati area yet, but I have heard good stuff about them. I will need to check out the apps, sounds like a lot of good information in them. Also, The Pittsburgh thing sounds awesome, I'll need to hunt that down as well.

    Vacation planning with E-Bikes

We took our Bikes last year to the Traverse City MI. area. We purchased a total bike cover that after a few hours on the highway the wind was beating it to death... even though we had it tied down tight so there were no loose flaps; the handlebars started ripping through the cover. I ended up...

    Vacation planning with E-Bikes

My Wife and I are trying to plan a trip, taking our e-bikes. We live in the Cleveland OH area with some of the most beautiful Metro Park Trails and were hoping to find some nice paved trails where we decide to go. We were originally thinking of traveling south to the Charleston SC area, (about...

    Cheap vs Quality Tail Lights?

Looks like a good one... My problem is I would have no idea how to wire it into my existing system. The thought of me cutting into some wires on my bike gives me heart palpitations. I know you can get some that are stand-alone battery-operated ones, but I like the idea of tying it into the...

Yet another "Careful of DOST Bikes" warning

Good to hear you got your refund. I purchased my 1st bike from Magnum (Metro 750) - within several months it started to have motor issues (grinding sounds) then the motor would just shut down for a few minutes. When I let Magnum know they said just to keep an eye on it and to let them know If I...

    DOST IS NOW IN RECEIVERSHIP

Question... I also purchased a Dost Bike. I purchased mine from my LBS. It's nice to know you can get a replacement battery from Biktrix - So thanks for the info @RobMontanez - Now for the question - The extra battery that Dost was selling for an add-on, was a 48V 11Ah - I didn't see that...

    Regrettable

I don't know much about bankruptcy laws... but I am wondering if the people who are owed money from Dost on undelivered products can petition the bank for reimbursement. Unfortunately, I highly doubt anybody will get what's owed them until the bank gets their pound of flesh 1st.

    Traveling in really wet weather

I purchased a waterproof bike cover for our two bikes... It worked great until I found out it totally obstructed my rear lights. so now I just wrap everything in the stretch wrap you can buy for moving. get it at Lowes/Home Depot.

    Don’t do Dost

Heart Breaking... More heartbreaking is that so many people got screwed out of money dealing with them. Just a few months ago I purchased one from one of their dealers, so at least I got the product, but my two-year warranty looks like it lasted about two months... Love the bike though. I truly...

Does Anyone have experience using a suspension seat post with a sprung saddle?

I also use a Thudbuster with a Brooks B67 Saddle... Love the combo, but still need to take a butt break about every 10 miles or so to get rid of the tuning fork feeling in my neathers. I have about 800 to 900/miles on my Brookes so I am sure it's broken in. Sometimes it is minor...
