    specialized creo 2

You should just be able to unhook the wire from the bottom of the seatpost and leave it in the tube. Nothing to cut unless you really want to get rid of the cable and housing. The TranzX dropper is 400mm overall length, so a 380mm seatpost will definitely fit. If you're buying carbon though, I...

Moving from Vado SL EQ to Creo 2

If you don't have the rack mounting screw near the derailleur (which may be less common on carbon frames? my grizl does not have it) you have to use an adapter that clamps onto the chainstay (or is it the seatstay?) somewhere. It might not work for various reasons (CF chunkier profile, CF can't...

Are there other good quickrack systems that use a special replacement axle as the bottom support?

Bike Rack for Trek Verve+4S Lowstep

If you still like your Vado, a dropper seatpost might solve your problem, too.

    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

Bosch has a fairly sophisticated range calculator that is probably more useful than my anecdotal evidence. Above I said 35-40 miles where I was riding a mix of ECO and TOUR and the tool says 34 for TOUR and 55 for ECO so it agrees as far as that. Also, playing with the cadence slider, it doesn't...

Specialized app almost never connects to bike (Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH)

Do you have both the old and new apps installed? They will fight over the bike. You need to unpair (or uninstall) one for the other to connect reliably.

Moving from Vado SL EQ to Creo 2

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but the SRAM eTap system has what SRAM calls "blips", one kind wires to the same-side brifter, and there is also a wireless kind. The function is assignable in the app, but I don't know if you can cross the streams and control the Specialized TCD with them...

    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

Once you're aware of it you'll notice almost everyone who talks about Canyon bike sizing (across their entire lineup) mentions going down a size from what they expected. And the fact that their sizing goes down to "extra small" is also a clue. I agree. And I wouldn't mind a non-black frame...

Would you choose a suspension seatpost, a dropper seatpost, or a combination of both for your bike?

I also tend to bob a bit right around when I hit 90RPM. Things that cure it for me: Upshifting (bobbing caused by having "left over power" at the bottom of the stroke), and focusing on making my pedaling motion more circular (like adding more of a pull back at the bottom of the stroke). It...

    I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

You may remember me from such bikes as the Turbo Tero X 6.0 or the Aventure.2. I was very interested in the Creo 2 but didn't jump on that fast enough. I ended up getting the Grizl:ON CF 9 because it's a very similar bike. I was looking for something faster on roads/light gravel, lighter, with...

Would you choose a suspension seatpost, a dropper seatpost, or a combination of both for your bike?

Max PSI is 500. You use a shock pump. Rockshox makes one that goes to 600

Would you choose a suspension seatpost, a dropper seatpost, or a combination of both for your bike?

This is a feature specifically of the XPLR gravel model: > We created an all-new design complete with lightweight air-only internals featuring built-in compliance we call ActiveRide™. It’s like travel for your saddle. > ActiveRide - Air only internals provide a fully rigid top-out position...

Would you choose a suspension seatpost, a dropper seatpost, or a combination of both for your bike?

Yes. I got the CF 9 which comes with AXS, so it can be paired to the existing shifters. For completeness in this dropper vs suspension thread: I have the stock X-Fusion Manic 190mm dropper on my Tero X 6, and I put a Cane Creek Thudbuster (meh for larger riders) on my Aventure.2.

Would you choose a suspension seatpost, a dropper seatpost, or a combination of both for your bike?

In that case, I just paid way too much for a Reverb AXS XPLR dropper post... But I guess I'll find out!

    New Turbo Tero 4.0 owner

Right, not through the stem, but you'll see there's a gap in the stem clamp to guide them down (and provide strain relief) if you want to use it. I see the Tero 4 pic on their website has the wrong stem clamp! But you can see the routing on the Tero X 6 pics. I missed the part where you are...

Note that there's routing in the stem clamp for the TCD cables. Dealers often miss that part.

No more 2023 Turbo Creo 2s

Not to brag, but I made that happen by buying a Canyon Grizl:ON (as of now they have exactly one size of one color of the Comp E5)

Anyone tried Schwalbe G-One Allround tire?

I agree. I'm a big guy, just started riding a 700c 44c G-One Bite and started at 40psi front, 45psi rear and that's more than enough. If you care about the opinion of someone with 30 miles on a tire, the G-one Bite seems good so far. Looks like the tire is identical in the center. The bite is...

Do gravel bikes need suspension forks?

You want some amount of compliance, whether it's from a calibrated amount of flex in the frame, or some active element. I've watched several Rockshox Rudy XPLR reviews, and it seems to be a well designed gravel-specific fork. That Salsa Tributary looks like a hardtail MTB with drop bars to me...

Holy crap Aventon! What is this silver stuff you're putting on your chains?!? I've tried 2 different strong degreasers

I got this chain. You might need 2x because there are more than 116 links in an aventure.2 chain. But any KMC chain of the right "speed" (width) should be better quality than Aventon's.
