TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Good idea. I was wondering about trying a factory reset. Maybe I will try that next. I wonder if that doesn't work if I can somehow check the controller. Maybe it got fried?

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

That's what it did - it got hot before the motor shut down... but the problem now is that the power (assistance) never came back. It only helps at like 5 % of what it was. But the voltage still reads 50.8, dropping to 48.

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Since this happened, it's the first time I've set my display to read voltage. But I did fully charge my battery this time and it read 50.8 at full charge. ... That's a good idea about trying a different battery. I wish I knew someone in my area that had a battery I could try. I only have one...

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Have you ever had (or do you know anything about) the 02H code I got? It shows up now when I try to pedal. I can't find anything about it in the manual or online.

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Would this being normal cause you to lean more towards the problem being in the motor than the battery?

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

I had a little bit of time this evening too look into this. I have a C3 display which allows me to read voltage. My voltage at the start is 50.8 V, but when I try to pedal it goes to 48.5 V or so. The big problem now is that it has barely any power - even from the start. I can still feel the...

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

I live at the base of a mountain in Pennsylvania. I would say its a 10% grade but more or less in places. That is one of the reasons I converted my mountain bike - to climb that nasty hill! I usually ascend 1 - 2 miles and then take offshoot trails that somewhat level out. I have a Giant Talon...

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

The power just bogged down all the sudden about a mile into a hill. If I kept peddaling, it shut down completely and I got the following on my screen: ERROR O2H POWER PROTECT (motor feels very hot). I have done the hill this happened on dozens of times without issue. (I did have a power problem...

TSDZ2 C3 Display km to mph

I just installed my TSDZ2 kit and took it for the first ride. I really like it. Does anybody know if I can change the KM to MPH on the C3 display (and how I’d do so)? Also, I’m not sure if I bumped the button or something, but it seems like the display turned off once by itself on my ride. I...

    Battery for Tongsheng TSDZ2 750w

I was thinking of going with the XH 18 that comes with one of the packages at Eco cycle. I need to research this a little more though. Do you think I should go with the C3 instead? That’s helpful to know about the chain ring stuff. I’m hoping to talk to someone At Eco cycles tomorrow before I...

    Battery for Tongsheng TSDZ2 750w

One of the things I want to do is commute back-and-forth to my work. This is helpful because Although most of the ride is flat, I actually have a fairly steep 800 foot rise in elevation at the end of the commute. … I’m glad I can maybe consider one of the cheaper batteries that I find on Amazon...

    Battery for Tongsheng TSDZ2 750w

Thanks to all the help I’ve received on this forum, I’ve decided to purchase a Tongsheng TSDZ2 48v 750w for my Giant Revel 29er MTB. I am purchasing through eco-eBike. However, I want to purchase the battery somewhere else so I can get it more quickly. (there is a long wait at eco-eBike). My...
