    What Are We Paying For?

I'm sure most everyone here knows about cost/benefits and the concept of diminishing returns. I always thought it was funny to see a 50 lb overweight guy at the LBS, willing to spend and extra $1,000 on a bicycle to save 2 pounds, lol. I was an engineer so I'm very value oriented, some would...

Trying to decide between 500 and Limited

Like they say on Shark Tank ... "what are you going to do?" It's been 5 weeks of searching for somebody to tell you what to do. Just buy one and get to riding Tito. LOL

My wife has one and I agree with everything Tayor57 said above. Incredible deal at $1199.

Trying to decide between 500 and Limited

Well, it that's true, I guess he will raise his bikes by $250 each ... I don't think so.

Trying to decide between 500 and Limited

Regarding the OP's original question ... 500 or L'MTD. I think a lot of people fail to recognize that in 5 years, or less, whatever you purchase, will likely be way outdated. As quickly as the technology is changing, there's a good chance that you will want to trade up in 5 years. That's why I...

Trying to decide between 500 and Limited

Actually, for many it is very relevant. Just look at the people that can't touch the ground, on their tip toes, at a stop.

What will you do for security?

Did you verify that the sound level is not that loud? Reviews say that it is quite loud.

What will you do for security?

Ride1up 500 for me and Espin Flow for my wife. Very satisfied with both. I would have ordered the Ride1up 500 step thru for my wife, but it was not available at the time.

    BEST LECTRIC BIKE LOCK

Nice description and pictures. Do you know if the alarm would work okay if my bike was laid down in the bed of my pickup?

    Laying an ebike flat

I've carried 2 regular bikes upright in the bed for years, but am now setting out on a multi day trip with one e-bike. I will lay my bike down in the bed so that I can close the tonneau cover to hide the contents. Not sure I could lay two e-bikes down this way.

What will you do for security?

I'm interested in a loud bike alarm/with remote, coupled with a sensible cable or u-lock.

Trying to decide between 500 and Limited

I've had my ride1up 500 for 5 months now. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. I have 600 miles on it and my only maintenance has been to oil the chain once. I'm 6'1" and 195 lbs and the bike's performance in hilly Prescott is excellent. Handling is very good as is ride quality. I did add a...

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

LOL ... "Indecision is the key to flexibility"

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

Crohnie, I wouldn't cancel unless you have an immediate alternative which is superior to the LMT'D. Shipping on all bikes these days is still uncertain and largely out of the owner's control. I canceled an order for a 700 for my wife, for a similar delay. I was irritated, but it's really not...

    17.5 A Battery, 840 watt hours - owner's experience?

Request was for experience from people who actually own the battery. I'll stick with the 9 reviews on the website, from owners, for now.
