    Got it! Trek XM700+

Congrats on the new bike! I just had the opportunity to ride this at the bike expo in Houston. The Bosch system is the way to go in terms of smoothness, for sure. The other thing I thought was that the viewable area on the Shimano screen was not large enough and the assistance level...

    Cross Current

I am guessing that the torques sensor assist, is when the non human power assistance kicks in, I am not sure about the technical term. It felt smooth and transitioned speeds nicely when switching between assist levels staying in the same gear. The bike has a slight hum, but it didn't bug me...

    Cross Current

@JoePah I don't have it yet, it is scheduled for April. I was able to ride a demo cross current though and I'm kinda obsessive about it. I started paying on the bike with the smaller battery, but I hope to upgrade to the larger battery.

    Cross Current

Cosign. Very insightful video. If I had to summarize for someone not interested I would say it takes tons of legwork to ensure quality assurance. It's got to be a labor of love and it shows when riding the cross current.

    Cross Current

I am so excited to have the larger battery available at launch. I immediately knew I wanted the larger battery to make the cross current a more realistic commuter bike for my needs. @Tora Harris is this forum the most up to date source of information? I find information to be available here...

    Biktrix full-suspension purpose-built ebike

This bike looks and sounds pretty good. Constructive criticism imho the bike would look way better with the battery at least partially integrated into the frame.

    Cross Current

Wow! My lovely lady and I test road the Cross Current and the ODK this weekend. We both preferred the look and feel of the cross current as it was more bike like. I was super pleased with the build quality and look of the bike specifically at the great price point. The performance was great...

    Cross Current

I just talked to Rocket Electrics in Austin and they reported the Demo arrived to their shop as well. I am so glad to hear that the impressions of this bike continue to be good. I can't wait for March when customer bikes (mine) are scheduled to arrive.

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

How do you know it will be the demo unit? I am not entirely clear if I am getting the demo or one in February. Any insight if the demo will vary from the feb models in any way?

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

@JoePah, thanks that is exactly the kind of advice I am looking for. My commute is about 10-12.5 with some hills. Austin is somewhat hilly nothing like San Francisco though. Ultimately, I will get the battery with better range. I want enjoy the ride and be able to divert and try out different...

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

@Kaldeem I put my deposit down via the ebike shop not through juiced.

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

I was looking hard at the easy motion line, but the price point being so much higher than the DIY bikes is why I ultimately held off. The shop here in town said I could apply the money to another bike if desired. The range on the cross current standard battery is a bit lower than I'd hope...

Put a deposit down on a cross current.

I put my deposit down on the cross current by Juiced Riders. I am super excited and I am a little nervous about buying v.1 of any ebike. This price point and spec sheet finally hit the sweet spot for me though. Rocket electrics, out of Austin Tx will carry the bike so local support is...
