Pausing M600 City Commuter till early Q4 2020 - Please read.

My thoughts are in line with what @AdilDesai mentioned. Better to pause the City Commuter than release something that's not ready.

My Ultimate Commuter Update @ 849 miles

Why did you change your chain ring? I wanted to reach 30 mph on a particular straightaway without too much effort, and I had the larger front chain ring available from my previous home brew ebike. Pushkar was kind enough to donate a smaller rear cog which I installed providing me the gear...

How big a market for step through?

I did a search on the subreddit of dataisbeautiful, but nothing really stuck out regarding step thru or bicycle frames in general. However there "might" be a source somewhere in there that might be of use to further your determination.

My Ultimate Commuter Update @ 849 miles

How fast are you typically riding? It varies, but between 13 and 30 mph's. When I'm on a section of road used by a lot of motor vehicles I tend to be on the highest PAS level and usually have at a speed at or above 20 mph. When I'm on a hike/bike trail enjoying the ride I'm generally at or...

My Ultimate Commuter Update @ 849 miles

@mebentz2, My maintenance, and I'm using that term loosely, is checking air pressure about every week, as well as all the major bolts for the rear tire and the Rohloff shifter to check nothing is loose or needs adjusting. Even though I've gone thru some mud and ridden in the rain I haven't had...

My Ultimate Commuter Update @ 849 miles

At 849 miles on the odometer, I added the Dual Battery Converter to my Ultimate Commuter. Before adding the second battery attachment and the Dual Battery Converter I carried one of the batteries in the image in a rear pannier on my last excursion. I went out 23 miles, then stopped for a rest...

Looking to place an order on an Ultimate Commuter Pro - brakes?

I agree with byunbee's recommendation regarding the Magura brakes for the Ultimate Commuter. I haven't changed pads or bled my brakes yet, but in regards to performance I have nothing but praise for the Magura ebike brakes with my Ultimate Commuter.

Talk About The Kindernay Gear System

The Kindernay Gear System looks great, and I'd love to test it out if I was ever provided an ebike equipped with it for me to do a review. Currently though I don't see myself changing to this IGH anytime soon. Before my current ebike, my homebrew used a Nuvinci 330 IGH, and it wasn't too bad...

More personalization options for UC Pro, lower start price, upgraded components!

Whoa, the Kindernay hub has a gear range of 543% while Rohloff's gear range is at 526%. That's pretty impressive.

Are there links you can provide detailing the pros/cons between all metal and the two piece MDR rotors?

Can't turn Watt Wagon headlight off!

@Feliz are you using the stock Bafang display on your UC, or did you change it out for some other display like the Egg Rider?

    Magura MT5 Issues?

@tomdav Thanks for mentioning the link. After watching the video a couple times I can say I've never experienced that with my Ultimate Commuter.

    Magura MT5 Issues?

@tomdav, what's "drumroll", is that a heavy squeak sound of some sort?

No Bafang Ultra on Luna's website ?

Good question. It looks like the Ultra kit is only going to be available for fat bikes sometime in May:
