You don't need to change the length of the chain at all. That is why your chain comes off. I have done this swap to four Lectric bikes without the chain being lengthened.. everything is in line and the chain doesn't come off..

Yes it pays to do your research when ordering something from the states. I don't believe that was duty you paid but actually a brokerage charge from the courier who delivered it. A complete ripoff. I paid, $55 in brokerage fees one time for a'$12 item. That's the last time I did that...😦

I spoke to Ryan about this issue at Lectric a while ago.....one of the wires to the controller can sometimes be not connected completely. I wonder if that was it. I would speak with them at Lectric. I'm sure they will reimburse you for this..

I don't believe there is an issue either. If the bike is upside down when your removing or installing the rear wheel it's snug but not a big deal. There's no excess force on the hub or frame.

I think you will find that Lectric will figure out the problem and will take care of you. One of our bikes had the same problem. Turns out in our case the wire from the motor had a break in it..easy fix...they sent me a replacement..👌

Im Canadian too..😍 my first two bikes I had shipped to Blaine Washington and picked up from there $1354 each Canadian with tax. The last two bikes we knew a broker owner that helped out. Shipping them to Canada adds to the cost.. 😩

The problem is not the bike...you ordered a bike online. If you buy a bike from a bike store you have the luxury of the bike store going through the bike and setting everything up for you. Yes I tried the stock seat with the SunTour suspension post I still ended up replacing the seat which also helped

The suntour seat post is the best seat post out there for the price..$80 US. It's on Ali express. The seat post on Lectric s site helps but is a glorified pogo stick.

Mine were the first shipments last year. Lots of stuff rattled. I removed the bolts and used nylon plumbing washers and then tightened back up. No more rattles. Gotta be creative. 😁
