    Water bottle location

under/behind seat bottle cage holders are far better and safer, and you can reach them while riding.

Does it exist..??? A fat-tire bike (generally for sandy, or snowy roads) with the power of a serious e-MTB (apt for steep hills, off-roads) ..??

pretty much done the same with mine, bike = 7,000 miles in 9 months, car = 2,100 I can't give up a car 100% job and family responsibilities, but now I only drive as needed, not to go everywhere.

cyrusher.com check the XF800 and XF900 they have a warehouse in the UK and Portugal I believe. I love my XF800, have over 7,000 miles on it. bikonit.com check the HD750, dual battery (30ah) good for about 40-50 miles of hard use, 80plus of easy use, same motor and programming as...

How Much Cardio Can You Get From Electric Bikes?

how much cardio do you get? all depends on how you ride it. I am living proof. 3-2020 I weighted 430lbs. I also have a replacement hip and knee as the result of a motorcycle accident 20 years ago. Covid hit and I started working from home, and eating at home. no more 16 work days and...

Have you seen a U.F.O while biking?

so yesterday wife and I are on the tandem, humming along the San Gabriel bike path in south L.A. at about 15-16mph near the seal beach area, a flock of pigeons decided they didn't care we were coming up on them at a good clip, they did not get out of the way or even attempt to fly away...

    I had a bad fall!

Sorry for your injuries. that looks really bad, a lot worse than my crank, though not by much. in my case I was lucky in that I saw the oil but it was too late to slow, locking the brakes would have made it far worse, I knew I was going down so I just let it happen and let go. 35 years riding...

I’ve been attacked by California Blue Jays myself. Also had a pigeon fly dead on into my chest once.

    I had a bad fall!

Did you get hurt? Not a bad fall if you didn’t get banged up. 36mph down a 9% grade and hitting a car oil slick in the mists of right turn, sliding 50’ into an intersection with road rash down entire leg and on your hands, Bent the crank arm and ripped the derailleur clean off the bike...

Have you seen a U.F.O while biking?

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object. Could be anything from a bird to a plane to a frisbee. A UFO is just something that can’t be identified at the point and time it is seen. I do believe life elsewhere in the universe does exist, one would be a fool to think that of over 100 billion...

    Shoes and pedals, I'm confused

by the by,, I love these pedals, they are grippy, no foot slide and you can toe up on them or flat foot on them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007YJ3SCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the pins are replaceable (and they give you a full double set) though in 8,000 miles...

    Shoes and pedals, I'm confused

I commute 25 miles each way 4 days a week on my e-bike, and flat pedals are just fine for me. I use shoes and clipless on my road bike on the weekends, but have zero use for them on my commute. for 9 miles I am on a riverbed bike pathway with no cars, the rest of the way I have to deal with...

Changing either the Front or Rear gears to ease grades or alternatively to provide faster speeds.

at the widest point of the 48T oval it is the same size as the as the 53T, even using my 53T chain guard to cover it as no one makes an oval guard. I start with the OEM 42T tried 48T, 50T, and settled on 53T. I can say that the oval 48T gives me more power for hills than a round 48T did...

Changing either the Front or Rear gears to ease grades or alternatively to provide faster speeds.

So my bike came with a 42T Chainring and a 7 speed cassette. it was great on inclines, but most of my commute is flat, and it sucked for top end. upgraded it to a 53T chainring and gained a much better top end. in PAS 5 I went from a 22mph average to a 27mph average. however now it...

Aventon Aventure Pedal Assist vs. Upgraded RadRover

Maybe, But I don’t have a bolton bike, never bought a bike from him, but Mark and Kyle have supported me with and IMO gone above and beyond to help me get my bikes running and dialed in, even before I purchased the upgrade kit from them. I bought the original KT controller and Screen...

Aventon Aventure Pedal Assist vs. Upgraded RadRover

Don’t know what kind of controller the Aventon uses, But I have several e-bikes 2 came with the KT controllers and LCD-8H display’s. The other 3 came with various different ebikeling controllers and displays, s700, s900, sw900. I was so frustrated with the ebikeling performance, my...
