I have welded the clutch. Experimented regen but Its too risky for the drivetrain. I have balanced V7 regen torque arms on both sides which is just enough to be relatively confident they hold.

Current figures for my modified G062. Awesome to have this performance in stealthy package 😄

Yes. 6 is faster winded than 6.5.

G062 06-windings can take huge phase amps for enough time for typical use. I have this motor heavily modified but with stock windings and running 200 phase amps peak.

I'm also using Eggrider with ASI BAC2000 and Kilowatt app. Excellent Combo. Basically Grin phaserunner is rebranded ASI BAC855. Did some tests yesterday. Topspeed 49 mph. Acceleration 0-30 mph 2.6s 0-40 mph 5.4s

Did not make any mods in this regard to the rotor side. I did make room for wiring and tubing on the stator side only + the cover plate.All the added connections goes through cover plate through this custom part.

If I understod right this is pretty much how I did it. On the other side of the motor this won't work. There is both freewheel/free hub assembly and most importantly rotor/Bell housing on the way (picture) + the clutch assembly.

That solution won't work as the cover is spinning but windings are not. I have the coils spring pressed against windings and thermal grease applied.

Couple of pictures to illustrate. Made custom part for added inlets. Also modded the cover plate and stator body a bit. Varmished coils run besides windings. Coolant is pumped and circulated through fan cooled radiator.

I'm using ASI BAC2000 and Kilowatt app where you can adjust both independently. Basically at low rpm the voltage is also lower so phase amps can be higher than battery amps.

There is no need for rewinding really. G062 with 06 windings have quite low resistance. Magnets are decent (except the gluing)and saturation current quite high. I'm running my modified G062 at 7000w peak (60v 120A battery current, 220A phase). Torque 200++Nm. Stock windings, magnets and axle...

Modified G062 is now getting some further power upgrade with BAC2000 & Eggrider 😎

My main battery is fully custom design and build. I'm using additional G80 pack attached to fast locking rear rack for range extender. DP9 is right squeeze but can be fitted.

Pretty much what Justin (Grin) said about these windings. The new style stator on G063 looks bit more favorable in this sense. Btw what type of damage you got on the laminations?

I don't do wheelies. Those fails sound like different design or manufacturing defect mayde. Venting and good grease is magic for the gears 👌 For the axle its important to have really strong torque arms both side.

6T G062 has KV 8.8-8.9rpm/v. I'm feeding this motor 190A Peak phase 60v. Also torque is more than twice the combined G060.750 running 70A phase. No mechanical problems. Need to use dyno when ramping towards 300A. You might go straight 200A?

Now run this motor approx 1 year at 190A Peak phase amps and ~190Nm off the line. No major saturation yet. I might consider even but higher Power later on but lets see. Have you tested mxus at high Power? KV? Torque rating does not promise anything but mechanical strengt basically.

Bafang G062.1000 motor comes stock with L1019 motor cable. Magnets are 30H. I have modified this motor further and running it will 60v (16s) 90A battery DC, 190A phase. Still torque is ~190Nm. Inertia dyno wheel output results 154Nm at 215rpm and 5,42 HP at 270rpm.
