    Cheap hunting bike

Not so Che. Fair chase hunting is actually by far more ecologically friendly then Store bought Meat. Unfortunately hunting is hunting with no guarantees that the Hunter will actually be successful that day, whereas going to the Store is a sure bet if you don't mind eating all the chemicals that...

Advice for older man wanting to get back on the trails

My Bike has 20" Wheels 4" wide Tires. I love my Bike but at times I go a bit off-road where bigger Wheels like 27 or 29" Wheels would likely much better overcoming obstacles. Cheers

    Wilderness.org e-bikes on federal land

Thanks Good up here in Northern British Columbia I almost never see a Hiker, Bicycle or eBike Rider on former Logging Roads. Stay clear of rutting Bull Moose, its rutting season right now. Few years back a Bull Moose even tried to hump a Police Car in Prince George, did quite some Damage. Cheers

Basket for your Bike repurposing Freezer Baskets.

Luckily my eBike came with a Factory installed rear Carrier Rack. Also on the front of my Bike over the Fender there are 4 welded on Studs. Because I love working with Metals and have a tiny Shop with all the necessary Tools, it did not take me long making a nice Aluminum Bracket for the Front...

UPDATE: [#11] X52.. The 1000watt rear hub motor “grindage” fiasco explained.. FINALLY!!

Well Sic Puppy while it took a long time, you got your Bike back running, learned a bunch and I thank you for sharing some of your wisdom. My Fucare is a Fucare Gemini unfortunately since Summer this year I had very little time to ride it, put only a few hundredth Km on it. Regardless I love it...

Getting bike and me ready to ride after long layoff and injury... replace tires??

If a Chain breaks on a Rear Hub Drive you get home using the Throttle. As for overly aggressive Car/PU Truck Drivers check my previous comment. Its funny, ignorant MV Drivers become very considerate when they realize a Camera may recorded there behavior. Cheers

Rode up on homeless person sleeping on bike trail.

The end product with all of this is, ordinary Tax paying Citizens eventually will have had enough and then the vote somebody into power (Hitler comes to mind) which cleans the Streets and our Freedoms disappear overnight into thin Air. Would be much better for everybody to give those on the...

    Have you tried cowboy coffee?

Cowboy Coffee eh. Manny Moons ago I watched a Movie starring Terrence Hill making Coffee by smashing the Beans with the Bud of his old Colt. Even then I did not think that was the safest way to handle a Revolver. Cheers

Why such big, hard cotter pins for brake pads?

If a Cotter pin is that hard to bend/cut, there is something wrong with it, just replace it with another one otherwise you risk breaking the Caliper which is made of cast Aluminum. Cheers

Why such big, hard cotter pins for brake pads?

Some of the best Cotter Pins are made of Stainless Steel soft enough so one can cut them with Side cutter Pliers. I certainly would not want to use "Steel" meaning hardened Steel. I would thing most Cotter Pins on the Bikes are made of "mild Steel" meaning they can be bend easily. As you...

Why such big, hard cotter pins for brake pads?

Btw. its good practice to bend both ends of the Cotter Pin because if the Cotter Pin fails (which is highly unlikely) both sides will still stay in and hold the Brake Pads. Cheers

Why such big, hard cotter pins for brake pads?

Hmmmmm, I replaced and/or just checked the Brake Pads on my eBike before and found the Brake Pads are actually held in a recess of the Brake Caliper and thus prevented from "rotating". All the Cotter Pin does, is holding the Brake Pads so they don't slip out of the recess. I suspect its the same...

Recommended air pump to carry on bike

Tire liners, sounds like a good Idea. Due to several Factors, this Summer saw me much less on my eBike then last year and will be the same till October. However I will put Tire liners on the List. Is there a particular Brand you recommend and are there are any drawbacks using Tire liners ? Cheers

UPDATE: [#11] X52.. The 1000watt rear hub motor “grindage” fiasco explained.. FINALLY!!

Thank you for your Post. What a Horror Show, enough to turn many People off buying a eBike. However this also shows how important it is to thoroughly check Sites like the EBF and the Internet before purchasing. I hate to admit I did not do this, just spent several thousand on a eBike on a whim...

    Life Gone in an Instant

Up to about age 19 I was an accident prone Kid and have the scars to prove it. After that I thought things through before I did them. For about 50 years I own and operate a seasonal Business in very remote locations which includes Bush Planes, Firearms, fast flowing Rivers and ever present...
