Brose S Drive Replacement Belt (USA)

That is a commendable amount of mileage on a two/three year old bike! Please let us know if/when you find a replacement belt source. One day I may be in a similar situation. How is the rest of the bike holding up?

Better battery remaining accuracy on the 700

tlippy, I am with you on the battery charging thing. Too much trouble trying to get it just right. I don't charge my mountain bike until the hours right before I next take it out, but I charge the R1U whenever it needs it, and take it to 100% even if I am not going to use it for a few days...

    Some LMT'D updates

I guess personal experiences differ. Every bike I have has a quick release seatpost and quick release axles. Other than the R1U, they are all mountain bikes. Nobody on a trail wants to dig out the multi tool just to straighten the nose of the saddle or adjust the height. Same goes for wheels...

Known Issues & Problems with Espin Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Every derailleur has two adjustment screws right next to each other, typically facing the back of the bike. Often there is the letter H and letter L for high and low. These screws limit how far in/out the derailleur can move. Their purpose is to prevent the chain from getting stuck between...

Ride1Up 700 Series Chain Falling Off Front Chain Ring

I have about 240 miles on my 700 so far (received June) and have not had the chain come off yet. I think the chainline is poorly designed but these things are not Specialized or Santa Cruz bikes. Last week I took my right crank off to see what I could do about adjusting the bottom bracket but...

Better battery remaining accuracy on the 700

I got my 700 in mid June. After about 200 miles I decided to have my controller display the battery voltage rather than % remaining, since it was so inaccurate as a percentage left. When fully charged it goes to 54.8 volts. I do not want to run the battery below 44 volts so I set my scale...

First impressions of first ride today

Thanks for the review bikeman. Since so many of us on here are based in the USA, we are used to seeing miles per hour. One thing I have a hard time believing is the top speed you claimed, assuming it is in miles per hour. I got my 700 in mid June and the controller (LCD thing) states the...

    Anyone know your nipple size?

I ordered the blue Parks tool spoke wrench and it fits. Its tight but it fits. IIRC, it is .153" opening. Its the biggest one you can find. The spokes on here are much thicker than a non-motorized bike so the nipples are correspondingly bigger.

Battery not recognized on my EasyMotion Evo Street

I loosened those two screws with the intent to put a washer under each one but could not find a thin enough washer so I used a piece of plastic packaging cut to shape and size. It seemed to me that the pins need to protrude more to ensure that they contact the battery connection more firmly...

Help me choose a commuter bike in Iowa

GenXRider, that is the controller that I have. My bike was received on June 16th. Even though I can change the power levels to anything that I want, if I am at 50% power the motor is going to provide enough power to get me to a certain speed on level ground. On hills it will slow down a little...

Help me choose a commuter bike in Iowa

I have both a 700 series and EasyMotion Lynx 6 Pro for mountain trails. The torque sensor/Brose motor on the Lynx is a fantastic combination, but I doubt you'd get it for $2000 on anything. The torque sensor (Lynx) just makes you feel like you've got superman legs, but you still have to put...

Ride1Up 700 Series Chain Falling Off Front Chain Ring

We have two 700's that we got in June. So far neither chain has fallen off. I have thought many times that the chain line is bad - it sticks out way too far to the right. The only time the chainline is parallel to the bike is when you are in one of the two or three smallest rings in the back...

Battery not recognized on my EasyMotion Evo Street

I want to thank the folks on this thread for probably helping to fix my Lynx 6 Pro. I've been having occasional problems with the motor cutting out after a pedal strike or a compression dip in the trail - the motor would stop but the display stayed on. I am a little afraid to say it out loud...

Small display and power quirks on my 700

Joe, my battery gauge does the same thing, only to a much lesser degree. Yesterday I got done with a ride and it claimed 21% left right as I pulled up to the garage. After three or four minutes it said 30% remaining. It seemed to level off at 30% and I wasn't going to stand around in a hot...

Max Programable Speed Not As High As Claimed?

Bikeman, I received my 700 in the middle of June. Unless they have made a change, the maximum that the motor will assist is to 40 kph/25 mph. I can sometimes get to a higher speed, but it is only because I am pedaling my tail off to do it. I tried tricking the controller by changing wheel...

Bought an Ebike from a "Popular Wisconsin Dealer"

I just signed up for this site after first coming across it in Jan 2020. Since then I've bought three ebikes - two Ride1Up 700s (his and hers) and a BH EasyMotion Lynx 6 Pro from Crazy Lenny. I want to detail my buying experience from them. The backstory - I've been on bicycles since I was...
