For convenience, they usually only make chains in a couple of different lengths and I think I've had to remove links from every chain I've ever changed. Fortunately, chain breakers are cheap and easy to use.

You might find that by using the new Microtune feature that you can adjust the assistance level closer to the current conditions and use a lot less battery. I've been very impressed with how far I can go while using very little of my capacity.

For the models that have them, the MasterMind TCU was released for the 2022 model year. Not sure if anything on the other models changed, but the "new model" emphasis for '22 was on the non-SL Vado/Como line.

The new model actually has some features targeted at e-bikes (not ours though) so I think it's a safe assumption that the basics are now working correctly.

Looks nice, would do the job, and a much cheaper option for those who don't need the competition-oriented training data on the standard Edge devices.
