    Rohloff Recalibration

No... Just don't go to work anymore.

Installed a Rohloff Speedhub 14, IGH on my mid-drive Luna Z1 Ultra Mag

If the hub is not showing any other issues than randomly slipping I would start with replacing the freewheel springs. Relatively easy to change these $4 parts. Watch the axle ring/plate video as they are located underneath. or

    Best ebike repair stand

I concur... Lifting these heavy bikes on to a stand is a back breaker. I love my hoist being able to easily lift the drive train to eye level. And then the ability to change height multiple times during a service with ease is the frosting.

    Best ebike repair stand

Not sure if you require portability... But since purchasing this... I haven't used my older version PCS-9.2 at all. The hoist is much easier to load and lift and the straps give you multiple points to do so from.

    Yamaha Leaving US Market

Now here's another who has really lost all notions of reality. Quite understandable when their savyior has the vocabulary and mental capacity of a 12 year old. But only a few days to go before we can all get giddy over Arnold Palmer cock stories and our dogs and cats can be let out of the house...

    Yamaha Leaving US Market

I think Mr. Rás probably hit it pretty close... then add a soft and saturated market in the US and the numbers just don't make it. It has nothing to do at all with not knowing how to build an ebike as their offerings are impressive and I would choose one hands down over any comparable Bosch powered.

More than that as you're not being persuaded into replacing the device

Right To Repair/Modify, Who Owns Your Bike?

Sony started it for me over 30 years ago and that's why I refuse to give them, Apple and such any off my money. Let the sheep continue to wait in line and think they've got the best ever.

    Yamaha Leaving US Market

I have a similar Makita hammer drill for over 30 years that I abused the hell out of and it still works as new. Many a hammer hole using bits beyond it's rated capacity. Many of their dishwashers have a similar story as yours. Everything Bosch is not golden.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Says who. Yeah... that's why Bosch makes dishwawhers.

Battery safety education - Only you can prevent battery fires!

Those are for small RC lipo packs. No where near the same density or potential. Li ion fires burn over 2000°f

Battery safety education - Only you can prevent battery fires!

Fire safes are designed to keep fire out. You could potentially be creating a shrapnel bomb if the fire/expansion reaction can't vent. These battery fires do not require an oxygen source.

Need your help: Left side motor cover question

More than likely it was over tightened when installed. . My experience is they use power tools when not appropriate. There should be a little blue thread lock on the screws so they can be just snug enough but still won't back out on there own. A small plastic washer or even an O ring can be...

Pannier bag update, the ultimate hack!

Sorry... not the kinda thing I'd be proud of. 🙃 The uneven surface of the pedals will eventually wear a hole into the bottom of the bag. I would put a layer of protection over it... But even better I would just start with something more appropriate like a block of wood or a layer of dense foam...

    Inner tube sealant

I always input a blast of air before checking pressure or releasing air to blow the valve clear of any sealant. Since I started doing this no valve issues. Using Flat Out at the moment

Headed to Rome, Italy next week, then a week in Amalfi Coast. Any eBike advice?

I've made many a trip and traveled Italy extensively from north to south and usually in 5-6 week stretches and can honestly say I've never been robbed or seen or heard of anyone getting taken. I guess some just look the part. 🙃

Headed to Rome, Italy next week, then a week in Amalfi Coast. Any eBike advice?

Not sure if renting an ebike would be near the top of my list of things to do. But I would recommend heading over to Capri for the day and then renting a small boat to circumnavigate the island...One of my more memorable excursions. I did this in August but during your dates of travel it may...
