RST Asteria Air Suspension 80mm Travel

Does anyone have any information on the air suspension for the LMT'D? Like maximum air pressure setting? I think I will write to the support site on the Ride1up page.

    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

Maybe Ride1up will offer a kit in the future for lights if enough people ask. I have lights on my other electric bike and have only used them less then maybe 10 times in 3 years. I have a Sigma Karma Pro I purchased in 2012 and just snap that onto the handlebar if needed.

    Some LMT'D updates

I went to the Giant bike shop and received 6 replacement bolts for the rear rotor. The funny part was the 6 were 25 torx head. The one that was left in the rear had a 4 mm Allen head. When I checked the 6 in the front for snugness they were also 25 torx head. The one in the rear did not look...

    Some LMT'D updates

This will apply to LMT'D owners. Someone on the Ride1up Facebook page that their LMT'D was missing some rear brake disc bolts. I checked mine today and I have only one bolt out of 6 holding it on. The front had all 6 in place. The third picture is the front wheel. I attached some photos to show...

    Some LMT'D updates

I always wondered why Rad bikes had the controller mounted to the frame. Not a very clean look but a better way of dissipating heat.

    Some LMT'D updates

Saturday 09/26 I took a 21 mile ride with elevation changes and had no problems. Rode again yesterday 09/29 around Lake Mead with some elevation changes. At about 14. 6 miles I lost power to the motor by torque sensor. The display screen was normal but had no assistance. Also the throttle did...

    1,000-Mile review of 700 ST

REI seems to have the best price for the Shimano Deore M591SGS at 48.00 plus tax and in store pickup. Most other places are out of stock and a higher price. Nice write up. I have a LMT'D but for $1500.00 the 700 for a entry level E-bike it has a good range with the 14 amp battery, fenders...

    I broke my battery !!!

I believe you should always have a lithium ion battery checked for cell damage after a drop. Not that there was any damage to the cells from yours but you do not want a fire to start while charging it.

    Some LMT'D updates

I rode 10 miles yesterday and 22.5 miles today for a total of 32.5 miles and still had battery left on a single charge. Per the graph I had 32% battery left. The motor only stopped once on me during that time close to the end of a steep incline as you can see in the picture. Took the picture...

    Some LMT'D updates

So since my last update I have had quite a few rides with my LMT'D now. Ride1up sent me two new crank bolts to replace the missing ring around the right crank bolt. Received that Saturday. The bike is fun to ride. The torque sensor is more like a real bike feel of pushing the pedals for power...

    Some LMT'D updates

I rode again this morning and just used the torque sensor to ride. I used the throttle only twice to take off from a stop but you really do not need need that ability since the torque sensor will get the bike moving right away. Old habits from cadence sensor riding. I had 0 instances of the...

    Some LMT'D updates

So today when I was riding around it was hot and I am still experimenting with the bike. I tried an extended stretch on full throttle for about a mile and I lost power. I still had the display but no throttle or power by the crank sensor to the motor. I shut it down and within a few minutes...

    Some LMT'D updates

I have used the throttle to get up to 22 mph. I have also used the throttle to start out then started pedaling and there is no hesitation between the two. Going for a ride this morning so will experiment some more.

    Some LMT'D updates

I restored it to factory settings. This is the current set for PAS 1, 2 and 3. I'm not sure if it goes above 22 amps.

    Some LMT'D updates

I received the missing crank bolt spacer from Ride1up today. They sent me a set. Everything seems sorted out now. Had a clicking noise coming from the crank. Changed out the pedals but still had the noise. Took a spirited ride today really leaning on the pedals getting to warp speed. It went...

Does anyone know what power assistant sensor settings do? The owners manual states Assistant Num represents PAS sensitivity settings. The settings are from 5 to 24. Mine comes from the factory at 24.
