    Lmtd Hub Motor Noise

I noticed my LMT'D step through was quite loud when I rode it the first time. I also have a 2nd generation with the torque sensor and it is not as loud. Then winter came and I have not done anything. May I ask why you have not contacted the customer support department at Ride1up? They are...

Anybody had a bad battery in Ride1Up LMTD ?

Good job figuring out the problem. I've noticed after riding for a length the controller will show remaining power like 48.2 volts lets say. Then I let the bike rest a bit and get back on and and at start up the battery will show 49.5 without a charge. I never noticed that effect on my first...

    LMT'D torque sensor bottom bracket

Repaired! I was giving myself very low odds on being able to repair it. Went to Lowell's this morning and purchased liquid tape and some shrink insulation but I did not use the shrink insulation. I saw some of the insulation was missing on the red power wire so just made sure all the wires were...

    LMT'D torque sensor bottom bracket

I took my LMT'D to the local bike shop due to a creek in the bottom bracket. They did not have a bottom bracket wrench my size to purchase which is 44 mm 16 teeth if anyone is curious. They said they would take a look at it and they greased the bottom bracket for $15.00 which got rid of the...

    Some LMT'D updates

No. The bike shop removed it to lube it so I didn't think of asking.

My brother wants a Dost mid motor

My friend Chris has a Dost Drop. Much heavier then the LMT'D but a little more technically advance with the ability to connect two batteries and drain power from both at the same time. Brakes include a power shutoff when applied, rack and fenders and adjustable stem included. The quality seems...

    Some LMT'D updates

Just another update. My crank/bottom bracket always had a little creek to it when pedaling my LMT'D. I first changed the pedals and also removed the cranks and lubed and refitted them with no luck. My brother in law came to visit and he was using the bike which he really liked while I was using...

    Concerned about hub noise-Solved!

My local bike shop is the same. They do not sell E-bikes but have no problem working on mine and other customers who have one. I would assume as long as it is mechanical and not electrical. All my concerns have been regular mechanical issues.

    Some LMT'D updates

Yes. Looks exactly the same as the old one. Date of manufacture is only one month different.

    Some LMT'D updates

I just wanted to report since installing the new controller sent by Ride1up I have not had any more issues with the motor shutting down under heavy load. I am really happy with my LMT'D and it is my go to E-bike to ride now. I have gone up some very steep hills on the bike path by the Las Vegas...

    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

It is not the usual side to side motion but actually like a pogo stick feeling at high speeds.

    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

I got out on the LMT'D today to test out the new controller. I took the controller back out since I tucked it in opposite of the video and then aligned the plastic sleeve and the battery locks into place now. I did a 19 mile trip up to the highest point on my side of town in PAS 3 (1-3) 10th...

    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

I received my new controller today and installed it this evening. It seemed rather daunting but I got it all back together and have power. I had two long screws and 3 short screws. Go figure. The lock assembly was a pain in the butt so I put those two screws in loosely to the connector plate...

    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

Well I have correlated my motor shutting down with using PAS 3 or the throttle for long periods of heavy amp draw. Even though no fault codes show on my display, which still stays on when the motor shuts down, I usually wait a few minutes for things to cool down and then I'm off with power...

Now you need to make a mount for the case on your rack!

RST Asteria Air Suspension 80mm Travel

This is what I wrote. "Hi, is there any information on the air suspension on the LMT'D like maximum pressure? I tried searching on line and can't seem to find anything." This was their answer. "Hello Michael, To add air you will need a shock pump. Most shock pumps have a guide for the Air to...
