How difficult was it to remove the main battery and how easy do you think the reverse reinstalling the main battery will be? I do have to get my Creo in for the battery updates.

Is that easy to accomplish in the field? Through the narrow presta valve? And then inflate the tube/tire?

You are tempting me to make a trip to the shop with Creo and both RE's! But with the current forecast - maybe that would be a good use of the RAIN!!!

Just the other day, I say to a friend let's go riding. I suggest a ride. "No, ahem, I did not pump up my battery so that will be too far and too hilly!" I ask why. Well, she's saving her battery so she only charges after two or three rides. But those rides have to fit within her parameters...

Perhaps the rim was damaged. This could particularly be the case, if the blow-out led to the rim smashing into the road surface with force????

Trade-offs! When hiking the Haute Route, after the first day, I left behind my book and shower flipflops and one or two other items. I did retain my Passport! ;) I also had a very light MEC sleeping bag for our group in case of a trailside emergency. Would loved to have ditched that but...

I I love KASHE. I don't make it often enough. While I stick with the simple kashe. Grandma made Kashe varnishkes. Leftover makes a great breakfast cereal, too.

That couch looks awfully comfy but might be a bit much for bike trekking. I'm somewhat jealous. It looks like you are getting the shakedown down. With months to fine tune it all. You taking one charger for both bikes or one each? Range Extender or single battery?
