    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

There's also no power whatsoever to any wiring harness(s) when the bike is off. So after a ride with the bike in your shed/garage if any moisture does creep into an area it shouldn't it never get's a chance to rapidly dry out (or start a fire :- )

    Supercharger 2 adventure

    40km & 1 pannier, that's not an adventure, it's a leisurely ride :) Seriously though, nice scenery!

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

When you take one out to slightly imbalance the bike and save 2.9-3.5kg (minus the weight of any blank battery cover) you lose: With a twin battery system the Bosch motor draws approx 5% power from one battery and then switches to the other to draw 5% and repeat. This allows the chemistry of one...

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

Ahh, understood, here in Australia we don't have many links/phrases like that, we haven't had many Guns here for about 26 years.

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

Wow those Electronic Engineers in Taiwan really do MeanWell ! :) That HLG-480H-54A can deliver full power at 50 degrees Celsius Ambient temp., and 60 Celsius here in Australia and it's fanless! And with up to 95.5% efficiency (here in Australia) ! Weight is to be expected with something that...

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

No and No. The most you can get into & out of USB is 100W at that's only USB-C. And you'll get more friction than power with the generator.

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

If you use their PhaseRunner controller the Throttle & ebrake signals are tied together for bi-directional throttles. You can separate these and setup a separate 'dial' for forced re-gen for when a combustion engine is powering the rig. And of course you get much more re-gen with the Gmac than a...

Is anyone trying to solve charging on the road?

Best done with: https://ebikes.ca/product-info/grin-kits/gmac.html and their electronics.

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

Wow, you've been super unlucky with that Homage! (or plural?) I like the Marathon Plus MTB's but i think like you i'd be happier with even a 62mm version or more, albeit heavy. I soon will be trying a combo of 70-584 Johnny Watts up front & 65-584 Pickup on rear (hard-tail SuperCharger), could...

Bosch LED Remote Details & Settings

Have never seen Polski black ice but nearly ended up at the bottom of the side of a decent hill once thanks to Deutsch black ice on a road over there (in a car) :) Over here only have to worry about dry fine powder dirt and stuff, out of town maybe the occasional snake.

Bosch LED Remote Details & Settings

I'm not very interested. I still like the 'feel' of my Shimano Deore XT brakes and especially like the feel & flexibility of the Rohloff manual shift. Until an ebike can completely drive me home by itself after i've had too many Beers then i think i'd like to fall off every now and then to teach...

Bosch eBike Flow App Details & Settings

I still don't see any developer resources available to entice potential Third Parties to become Bosch ebike systems IOT developers/producers? Still only COBI stuff. https://community.developer.bosch.com/t5/About-the-Community/Welcome-to-the-Bosch-Developer-Portal-Community/m-p/386

Riese & Muller have had ABS in a few models, maybe just HS, not sure which though for a few years now.

R&M SD Belt keeps coming off

The belt may still be damaged, it has Carbon fibres within it that cannot take any lateral bends, etc.

Changing crank length and primary gear reduction on Rohloff/Gates equipped 2021 Homage GT with Class-1 CX Gen-4 motor.

Must be why us Aussies never break a bike when braking with both hands :)

    5000km Anniversary for SuperCharger 2

With a good translator this forum usually has most things Charger/SuperCharger discussed well before ElectricBikeReview forums. It's a huge resource - at 865 pages with 17,296 posts, here's one of the early uses of "Jeep" to describe the SC...

    Battery Power Button

No it's a quick press, a long press (not sure how long) does a reset i believe. And as you can see here that the Bosch BMS's are a bit more complex than the average Koala bear (which is not saying much but :) https://ebike-workshop.com/2020/08/14/bosch-bms/
