With the exception of the new Smart System: I think the only updates you can get at home are the Cobi (app not on bike display?) & Nyon. I don't think you can update the Kiox at home. You definitely can't update any of the DU's, batteries. Intuvia display or Purion display.

Out of curiosity, what was the resistance of the 3 x 12v globes? FYI, on the German pedelec forums, people mentioned their Bosch battery charge cycle count was getting incremented rapidly by playing around with the 5VDC on the CAN line, how accurate this is, i have no idea.

Maybe the BMS doesn't like such a low resistance (3 x bulbs) and determines it's in a short circuit state. When it's on the bike there would be more resistance - motor electronics, longer cables, etc. Maybe with your load in parallel it may be enough. Or there's a particular sequence/timing to...

I have an older (year or 2 old) DataSheet PDF that say's 150W, i can't ever remember seeing that change. They do under-state the weight by about 300g. I had to pay for customs clearance & gst (vat) twice :( Very expensive panels, hopefully for others in the future SunPower can make foldables.
