Any updates for me on which is actually the most durable to take a bafang ultra flogging? Lots of discussion about different speeds but i dont see a consensus. I have a rohloff so no gears to worry about, just want sturdy (snapped a chain today).

It was extra WINDY today too!!!! :) Looks like you need 3 chains for recumbent trikes so now I'll figure out what ones are strong for e bikes and go that route. I have a rohloff so its just 1 run/no cassette.

So for my noob help... any tutorials of how to run a new chain? Mine just broke right before the Golden Gate Bridge on my way to work, doh! I have a ti-fly x with a bafang ultra. I have no idea how to choose a chain or where all to follow the cogs since it all came off in a big kerfuffle, lol...

Oh gosh, the used one i was considering was only 30% the cost of a new one so it was an apples/oranges situation. But I went Homage over Nevo in the end. The Nevo was great and totally works but the Homage tp me is just that much more comfy.

I believe you can use a Thule Yepp with the MiK system for it! My kid started riding her own bikes at 2 so we havent needed a seat in many years so I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, their listings really turned me off. I contacted them about one and they said half the info was wrong after I asked a bunch of questions. All bad. And Im only after Nevo & Homage w/Rohloffs so they had only a couple. Oh well.

I guess Ill skip out on the used Nevo. I asked him for a closer picture of the motor to confirm its the speed and not cx. He said "its in the listing" even though i said its too fuzzy to zoom in enough and tell. Says its the CX but 28er and not unlocked which I dont believe is a thing.... Okay...

He must not know then. His add clearly states 28mph but says CX (not speed). Maybe its unlocked? Ill ask.

Did you get to try an Evelo Omega? The specs seem cool and the price is nice since the bafangs are cheaper. But I'm leaning towards a used Nevo rohloff for the same price in my current search.

My dealer said we can't get a tester even pre-2026 but he loved the Pinion version he was able to try at Eurobike.

My USA dealer was able to ride one at Eurobike but says we can't get them stateside pre-2026. He's still just recommending Rohloff.

Do we know when the Pinion version of Homage5 will be available for US customers? I'd love to compare one to the Rohloff I was leaning towards!
