Make sure the grey lever in on the On position. There should be resistance if you try to pull back on the derailleur.

I use the Specialized Hemisphere Armadillo on my Vado 5 SL and they work fine on gravel.

Yup, I made a quick visit to my LBS to try out the location of the buttons that worked best for me before they finished building up my Creo. I also had the mechanic tweak the location of the brake horns. There’s no universal answer.

In the US market, that bike (Vado SL 5 EQ) is now $4750. It was $4500 before the price increase. Mine is Black & Blue and is a great bike. A few weeks ago when I was in my LBS, they still had one in a large. If it's still there, I don't know if they have changed the price tag on it.

I think that I understand your question. Once the assist is off, the only way to get assist again is by pressing the up (on my bike right) button. Pressing the down (left) button when assist is off does nothing.

I think that will work but it will be best if you can anchor the mounts securely so the fork doesn’t wobble. You probably have that covered by anchoring to your 2x4s. With a 10’ stick of pvc, you’ll have plenty if you make any mistakes 😎Thanks for sharing.

It sounds like you pulled the trigger on 2 of these bikes. Congrats! By fork mount, do you mean the thing that is used to secure the bike while transporting in the bed of a truck? I looked for one that fit the front fork of my Creo CC EVO (same dimensions as your Experts) and could not find one...

I have a Creo CC EVO (buttons added) and a Vado SL. The Vado SL boots up in Sport mode too and I kind of like it. Even though I ride both of them mostly in Eco mode, starting up in Sport gets me up to a desired speed then I drop the assist down....Your preferences may vary.

I believe the 2021 Creo Expert EVO includes the remote buttons to change the assist level. I just got a 2020 Creo comp carbon EVO and the remote buttons were not included. I had them added for $60. My LBS didn’t charge to install them.

MC does show your tire diameter. It's on the Diagnose screen but the LBS has to change it. I guess because that's part of the math that determines the cutout speed for the motor.

Jodi: I'm 6'-3" with about a 35" inseam, so long legs. The seat post is set by the LeMond method which works well for me. The Specialized sizing tool actually recommended a XXL frame but there wasn't a Creo in my area that size to try. The top tube is actually lower on my XL Creo than my L Vado...
