    Solid State range extender

So, to be clear, did you end up a mile higher than you started, or did you go up and down a thousand 5.6 foot hills? TT

With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

This from The Huffpost: “Let’s be clear: Taylor Swift isn’t any less powerful, beautiful or relevant because a president said something petty. If anything, it says more about his fragility than her status. Let’s hold adults to adult standards — especially when they’re speaking to the world,”...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I don't think there's a whole lot of practical difference in the viewing quality on a computer screen or phone between 2000 kb or 100 kb but under 1 mb is the general recommendation for forums, I think. A page with 20 or 30 2 mb pics can take a while to load and use a lot of storage, which...

Catalina Island, Avalon to Two Harbors

From Wikipedia: The Catalina Casino gets its name from the Spanish term casino, meaning a "gathering place" or establishment used for social interactions and sometimes shows and dances. Contrary to the common English usage of the word casino, this has never been a facility for gambling.

Really. I haven't gone looking for it but I seem to recall having seen a similar pic of Branson with young women without the bikinis. Could have been edited, I suppose. Wouldn't have taken a lot of effort. TT

    automatic self-adjusting wire strippers

Um, maybe. I suppose. But how many is a matter of opinion. Based simply on observation, my opinion is you post about 95% more pictures than needed, or than anyone else, whichever standard you want to use. I could probably post about 16 pictures and screenshots to illustrate my point, but I'm...

    automatic self-adjusting wire strippers

Huh? No pictures. I don't understand. I'm sure the forum owners are thrilled with your philosophy every time they have to upgrade their storage. But then, how would we all function without a screenshot of what your paid and when your new tool is being delivered by Amazon?! Plus, other than...

The Future of eBikes: How Fast is Too Fast?

I'm just suggesting an approach to the issue. I think you're always going to have problems with this whether you go with regulating bikes or regulating behavior, but I think regulating behavior is the right approach. To be clear, I mean posting speed limits and expecting people to obey them or...

The Future of eBikes: How Fast is Too Fast?

So, for now, bike riders have absolute immunity? I guess I'd be immune too if I knocked someone in the head with a hammer? There is no license or identification required to carry a hammer. If there is a speed limit and you break it, the bike didn't break the speed limit, you did. Who cares...

The Future of eBikes: How Fast is Too Fast?

I'm not sure different classes of bikes are necessary. A Toyoto Corolla and a Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale are very different in their abilities to go fast, among other things. As far as I know they operate under all the same regulations. And why shouldn't they be? Who needs to do 199 mph? Put...

    LA Fires!

I thiink you're trying to put too fine a point on this. There surely aren't Sequoias in the area, but there are trees. Trees are still trees even if they don't grow very big in a desert area. I looked at Google Street View, and I see trees, but yeah, it's mostly brushy. I'm not there and I...

    LA Fires!

I agree with most of your points but not this one. Looking at google maps there is a lot of acreage covered with trees. I don't know if you're saying there are no forests in the sense that there are no areas of named forests, e.g.: Daniel Boone National Forest, etc. There are plenty of areas...

    LA Fires!

There probably is some blame to be found, but I think it mght be best to look at this as a learning experience. Even with all that can/should be learned, I'd bet a million dollars codes and other regulations won't be adopted that will prevent something like this from ever happening again...
