    ABUS URBAN E-BIKE HELMETS

I’ve got the Pedelec+ version of the helmet. It’s not bad, the light on the helmet though is pretty much invisible in daylight though. It cost me about £65, so definitely savings to be made from the rrp

    CCX Voltage

I think their batteries are all made and tooled in China, you can see that from the many factory YouTube videos that Juiced have put out.

Wow, decent mileage! I’ve always liked the look of those bikes. Sort of a do it all type

Not sure, they are just laid out in the park like that. Next time I go past I will have a read up of the sign. I prefer the giant chair

Xmas eve early morning ride today around the edges of London. 35 miles in on the CCS I got a seriously cold left foot so headed home. Managed 42 miles in total, still had tons of power left when I got home

    CCS is tougher than me

I’m okay, just a bruise now on my upper thigh and a healing arm. Yes, saw Reid’s video, glad he was okay. I’m planning a ride on the CCS tomorrow weather permitting. ?

You can set a minimum as well on the CCS display

    CCS is tougher than me

Had my first ‘off’ this morning. Patch of black ice down a country lane. Damage to the CCS: * the end part of the front mudguard stay (the little plastic bit that keeps the mudguard in place) * mirror glass broken (not technically part of the CCS!) Damage to me: * badly grazed upper right arm *...

    Eurobike 2018: Stromer ST3 ahead!

I’d love to try out the ST3, unfortunately in the UK only one place actually sells Stromers nowadays.

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I’ve had an issue from the last two rides where the plus button on the display wouldn’t always function. Went to order up a new display from juiced (I’m in the UK so shipping is pretty costly), but thought I’d try and fix it. I undid the display with the small Allen key, then thought about...

New Juiced Bike Model: The Scrambler, fat 20" Wheels, Class 3, Double-Seater

All that power and a tiny battery. Also what’s up with that site with models in bikinis laying over the bike?! Advertising mindset from the 1970s?!

    The new Stromer ST5

It’s totally put me off looking at one, especially considering the cost of them.

Tubeless tires--please share experiences and ask questions here!

Weight wise think tubeless tyre and sealant are about the same as a tyre and tube. For me the main advantage is the lower pressures you can run. Most road surfaces you can just float over. My non ebike commute was an hour on a fast lightweight drop bar bike, knocked consistently about 5-8...

Tubeless tires--please share experiences and ask questions here!

Im from the UK and have used a similar product to the second one you’ve linked to. On the tubeless tyres (WTB Road Plus) I have on my non electric bike, I’ve probably had about 10 punctures, the sealant did the job for all but two of them. The product you linked to easy fixed the other two...

    International shipping?

In my experience the mid drives use up quite a bit more of the battery when compared to rear hub motors. Most of the mid drives only have around a 500wh battery which is nowhere near enough for the riding I like t9 do. Only stromer, juiced and Riese and Müller seem to make bikes with large...
