Yes mornings, but often it is mid 80’s at 7am. By 8 the sun is blazing, and by 10 it’s often 95. I did do a beer run at 105... some of the best beer I ever had ;) I’m ready for Fall!

Congrats! I did 580 for July, and did it in spite of every day but 4 being 100 degree plus. Some were 112. Hot summer in a Texas, but we were due one.

I have the Ui6, same battary/motor as the Metro. I am amazed at the range. I was hoping for 40 mile range as that would cover most of my rides. But I regularly get 65+ miles on PAS 2. And even then I still have 2 bars. Exceeded my expectation.

I wouldn’t toss it in the swimming pool, but it should be pretty resistant to moisture. After all, they must expect some rain riding, they put fenders on it.

Interesting observation eBikemom! I would say it will be a long time before that a possibility. There will always be standard bike riders, even if eBikes take a large market share. Therefore there will be the need for them to be standard bike friendly.

I wish my wife would have at least test rode the Cruiser. She instead went with a cheap Fuji from Performance. It’s okay, but weak battery life, 250 watt motor, no throttle, and in general “cheap. I have to bite my tongue to keep from pointing out how much better the Cruiser would have been.

Build quality and less rattling is a pro I would give to Magnum. I don’t have a Metro, but a Magnum Ui6. I have zero rattling, and good build quality. I highl recommend Magnum, especially for the price. Throttle on demand is also a huge plus. I use it fo quick starts,. Gets you up and going...

I carry the tool kit that came with my bike, plus a Swiss army style hex key set. Also have spare tube, patch kit, tire irons, CO2 pump and basic first aid kit.

Great writer up Alaskan. Sounds like a good, solid bike. The ability to interchange battery’s is something I envy. My wife and I each have eBikes, but different brands.

Agree 100% christob. The media constantly spotlights the worst of us. Are there jerks among us? Sure there are. There are jerks of all sexes, races, religions and politics beliefs. But we must never believe the few hateful ones define or represent who we are as a whole.

The branding on my Magum isn’t bad, but I prefer a clean look. So far I’ve just took the warning stickers off the battery.

On my Ui6 I’m 90% of the time on Pas 2, some on 3 and seldom on anything else. I get 60 miles with 2 bars left.

Looks good! When mine wears some, I plan to replace the cassette on my Ui6 with a taller ratio. 2nd gear handles any hills I have, and 8 has no bite over 24 mph or so.
