I saw that Pedego unveiled their new Conveyor this summer but do they normally make any changes to other existing models year to year? It would be nice if they'd offer a larger frame size in the Ridge Rider.

Actually I did ride the City Commuter and I'd have to have a longer seat post for it too. The hub drive variety is just fine for my purposes too. I'll chat with them this morning when I drop by for lock information.

Thanks for the input. I'd like to avoid having a real long seat post just to compensate for a frame that's too small, I'm going into the dealer tomorrow so I'll have a seat on it. I'm still going through the learning curve in this stuff but I did read that the mid drive is better suited to off...

We picked up my wife's new Interceptor on Saturday and she's over the moon. Needless to say she's mentioned that I too should be joining which I'm not totally opposed to. At 6'3, 193 pounds frame size is a consideration and looking briefly at some mountain bike options a lot of the frames are...

My wife is patiently (maybe not) waiting for her Pedego Interceptor which is due to arrive tomorrow or Friday and we too, on southern Vancouver Island, are in the haze of smoke. The forecast is looking better towards the weekend.

Ok, well as a test I've put an old bike into the box with the two tie downs as discussed. 1. Bike can't move back as tie downs are secured forward of their connection point on the head tube. 2. Can't move forward....duh 3. Neither strap is cinched particularly hard The bike is rock solid...

Thanks for the input JR, regarding the instagater, I guess an issue is that with the cruiser style Pedego Interceptor front fender, can the hook end of the device be removed to put it in between the tire and fender and then re-attach it to the main unit.

I have searched quite a bit on similar topics but haven't found a definitive answer from anyone who has used this method. I don't anticipate having to 'transport' the bike often so buying an e-bike specific rack isn't cost effective. I do, however, have a hitch mounted Versahaul Motorcycle...
