    Quick-E+

Well we're within a pound of each other. My plan is to ride it for a bit to determine if I'm happy with the 32kmh and then see what kind of mileage I'm getting with the stock bike and if I feel the need to accessorize/hack, with I'm prone to do, I'll order a SB2 then. Have you taken your...

    Quick-E+

Thanks....I've been procrastinating for awhile on buying the Quick E+ mostly due to nice weather and preferring to ride my MC however I'll probably grab one next month. The Quick E+'s in Canada are limited to 20mph/32kph so that's why I was interested in what benefit there'd be with the...

My apologies you're quite correct the oem is a 42T chain, I was reading so many references to the 48T I just started to assume it was the oem....oops. So my question is for those who have the Speedbox installed, without any other modifications to the bike what speed can you comfortably sustain...

Given that info, if the oem 48T chain ring results in 32kmh is there any point to installing a dongle (Speedbox 2) to go faster? Would it/is it a comfortable cadence above that?

    Interceptor-Spare Battery mount?

If one wanted to pack a second battery instead of taking a charger along for the ride has anyone seen a good method? I assume the logical spot is to piggy back it on top of the rear rack but how to secure/conceal it? Narrow tail bag that could bungy or strap to the metal rack? Right now my...

I see they mention the Speedbox-B (Bluetooth) is now available for the Bosch motors. Have you been in touch with them and found out that this will be available for the Giant SyncDrive (Quick E+ with EVO display)? If so, did they give you a time line? Thanks...

    Quick-E+

Interesting, are you going to investigate this mysterious button pressing he did to get into the diagnostic/setup menu? I wouldn't expect it able to totally remove the speed limitation however perhaps it is possible to change it to the limitations for different world markets.....i.e US Quick E...

Tips from an E-Bike Shop Owner for Buying a Used Electric Bike

So to carry on with the battery issue, if a 48v battery was only charged about 20 times in a 3 year period, bike seldom used, is that battery toast? Is there a way to test it? Thanks

Ebike Battery Safety: Storage and Charging at Home

Any input on charger position while charging? If I head out on a longer day trip and want to take my charger so I can 'top up' while having lunch does it/should it be be flat or could it be in the pannier with the fan facing up? In the event the bike is out of sight of where I'm sitting have...

MI/KM Setting on Display - Metric Users?

Well this will come as no surprise to other Pedego Owners......I received an email from tech support moments ago. I was told that this unusual issue is likely a software glitch in the display and they'll send me a new one. My wife is thrilled. I wonder if Pedego could offer their services to...

MI/KM Setting on Display - Metric Users?

My wife has her display set for KMH and while her speed is metric is correct the distance on the ODO or Trip is actually showing miles but with Km's after the number We did a test this morning on a set route. Her display read 2.7 KM and the trip on my motorcycle was 4.3 KM. Clearly her...

Gear + Button Problem - Interceptor

My wife is very happy with her Interceptor so that means me too. I'll be buying one in the near future but wanted a more Mtn Bike style and while I tried the Ridge Rider the one size frame was just too small for me at 6'3. Had it come in a larger frame I likely would have spent the premium...

Gear + Button Problem - Interceptor

.....and just to yet again confirm the stellar customer support from Pedego, there was no charge in repairing/replacing the thumb shift assembly. o_O (Pedego Victoria BC)

KineKT Body Float Post - Rider Weight

Thanks a lot it's very helpful, I think at 192 pounds I'll stick with the Medium set up and install the one orange spring to give me a bit more weight range as you mentioned (up to the 225). I was debating whether to get the long or shorter seat post but the dealer said he only brings in the...

    Quick E+ Seat Post Length

I've looked at the geometry of the 2019 Quick E+ Seat Tube lengths and can see that each frame size has a different 'tube' length but I'd like to find out if the actual Seat Post is a standard length throughout the frame sizes and if so what that length is. Thanks in advance
