Future Bike Model Proposal: Roadster 800

The models are still in the works. We are having issues and delays in trying to make everything perfect. They are still so far out, I wouldn't be too disappointed. The 700ST is a ideal bike if you want a step through frame. IMO.

Future Bike Model Proposal: Roadster 800

I was wrong, the torque sensor model will have swept back bars, but not a step-thru frame on that model.

Future Bike Model Proposal: Roadster 800

Actually, we are changing the 500 series batteries to a 13ah battery. There are a lot of positive updates/changes. It's hard to get into all the specifics and some things are in the works. I will do my best to share all details as soon as we finish production and have all the specs and looks...

Future Bike Model Proposal: Roadster 800

Hello, this specific new model will have a torque sensor, but not be a step-thru bike and have standard touring riser bars. Our 700 series has a ST frame with swept back bars, and soon our 500 series will have an ST frame with swept back handlebars as well.

    Got my 700 ST

No one wants range anxiety! >_< 14ah is generally a good amount though for round trip commutes under 35 miles. It just depends on your use. How you ride, tire PSI, winds/hills, speed, and amount of pedal input. Lower speeds make a significant difference in the range. You can see your live...

    Got my 700 ST

Well, mountainous mileage is a completely different animal. I can drive my car up a hill and only achieve 25% of my potential mileage. So that kind of range going up a hill a 20 mph plus isn't too shocking. It really doesn't drain juice faster than other geared hub motor bikes to be perfectly...

    Got my 700 ST

You can compare to other Geared hub motor ebikes with 14ah batteries. There should be a lot of feedback out there with that battery size. Using mostly motor, my guess would be 35 mile range. But it depends on so many factors, speed being a big one.

I know this doesn't help you much, but we've since added these to all our bikes being made. >_<

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

I think there's a little more too it than that. Supply chain is important of course.

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

That is how I feel feel as well. Not too worried about copying, though I do believe there is a limit to this philosophy. Generally speaking though, I completely agree and am not too worried about it. More options for the consumer, and our goal at the end of the day is more bike for less money...

Thank you! We will list park tool tension, but I like the idea of sound tension, and just the reminder to check.

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

You can attack me if you like, but I posted on this forum because it is also in the Ride1UP forum and I get notified. I'm sharing what I have experienced and what I know based on the evidence I have. It's a article about comparing two nearly identical models so of course it makes sense to post...

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

I wasn't posting here to make you an enemy. I'm happy their using dealer networks and probably the reason you are in support of it/them. We're testing different business models. Buying direct online, or through local bike shops. We'll see where the future takes us, and for me it is about...

Future Bike Model Proposal: Roadster 800

No problem. It's not about price or what's available, everything is available. It's purely by choice. The batteries made by reention really limit what we can do with the frames. So for a variety of frames with different riding styles, we use different battery shapes. Otherwise our frames would...

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

Thanks, I definitely agree with you Josh. It's a bit of a shame to see so many aspects of our design replicated, but I do agree with you. Though it will be hard for anyone not going direct to consumer to match our prices, so we will continue the mission to offer more bike for less. To answer...
