Is that saddle anything like The Cup from the Como? I was considering that but others thought that it wasn’t right for the Vado ride position. I may also try a Brooks B17.

...and certainly red bikes (like sports cars) go faster. :) This caused me to think- I am a huge 'car guy' (explained in another post here) and have likely owned 50+ vehicles in my lifetime. Only 1 of them was red- and that was a Range Rover (Sport). All of my sports cars have been dark blue...

OK- as I have mentioned before- I am a moron when it comes to things mechanical (hence my ultimate decision to only by from Big 3 and from a good LBS). Here is the question: how do I know which chain-ring I have? Sorry for sounding like an idiot.

As you can see, I am a fan of the Dove Gray and I have the high step. However, the Crimson is a very nice color and I needed a step through and all that was available was Crimson, I wouldn’t hesitate. ...a glass of wine in her hand...

Personally- although I don't expect to be riding in the 25-28mph range very often, I like to know that that range (and the power to get there) is there. And I definitely find myself riding in the 20-24mph range with frequency.

I’ll check with my AAA. My insurance company only covers them under homeowners and we have a high deductible so it won’t be covered.

FWIW- the Crimson is still a really nice color. There were several on here who hold it to be the best color - and they were trying to convince me to go in that direction. Like you, I preferred the Dove Gray but thought that the Crimson was still pretty sharp.

I have the Dove Gray. It is non-metallic but it is not matte...and I LOVE it. 😎

One American here who misses not having a manual transmission. I had one up until just about 5 years ago when I replaced my 2006 Boxster S with a 2013 Boxster S with PDK. Great transmission for sure, but my left foot gets bored. ;)

I’ve wondered the same thing. Maybe he should delete the forum if he doesn’t have time to reasoned- then people could ask their questions of one another in the other forums.
