No, I would not significantly change any part of the original design of any bike. Major changes can cause problems. Frames should not crack. Even extra special Specialized. I realize that some have cracked. It's a design issue.

TP lost his #1 support rider. Hopefully, he will return. I don't get why Visma didn't lead out Jonas. He was catching TP but ran out of road. A leadout would have cinched the stage win. There's either some 3D chess being played, or Visma is suffering. I can't see it any other way.

I would flush out the shifters with rust protectant, and replace both sets of inner wires and housings with lined housings from Sram or Shimano. Work everything in for 5 minutes or so of shifting. If it's not like buttah by then, you have bigger problems, but that money is not wasted.

The Tesoro Carbon is an awesome bike but it's Bosch.
