    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

It feels like a proper race bike. My last race bike, a Felt Fc, shod with Zipp 606 tubulars, weighed 14#. I raced it mainly in American criteriums, on downtown streets, full of cracks, potholes, sunken manholes, and whatever the city threw at us, at 28mph+ average. It was fine, until a 50+ mph...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Excellent points, Ras. I am also looking closely at TQ down the road. A couple of other points. Adding this motor gives them a really nice road drive unit line, 40Nm 1.2Kg, 50Nm 1.8Kg, and 60Nm 1.9Kg. All of them are user upgradeable and tuneable via their app, and the system supports ANT+ to...

    JACKS FOR EBIKE?

Take a look at the picture again. As I said, I'm not concerned about the undersized lumber being able to support 100 pounds. I'm concerned that the roof is not structural, and that deflection of the joists will cause the roof to leak over time. Carry on.

    JACKS FOR EBIKE?

1-1/2" of plywood is much, much stronger than equivalent softwood 2x dimensional lumber.

They are here on the upper Cape, but no sign of them where I live mid Cape. They are supposedly about to start dying off next week.

    JACKS FOR EBIKE?

Sister the joists with equivalent dimensional lumber, or better yet, 3/4" plywood. Lag the sandwich horizontally. Lag the hoist to the underside of the joist inside the sandwich.

One of the nicer things about the BES3 Bosch system is its flexibility. A manufacturer can design an e-bike with *design* as the priority, like this bike. The Pinarello Nytro is another one. Clean lines. Minimal options. Pick your assist and just ride. If you want to switch assist modes with the...

I found it. It was on the way to Barre center, maybe 8-10 miles out? Coming from the west after going through Ware and Gilbertville. The detour was off of Route 32 East.

With my dual battery Bosch, the battery remaining always starts at 100% with a full charge, with one or both batteries connected. A separate screen shows the remaining charge for each battery if running duals.

Got my 15yo son the Wired predator. Did i make a mistake?

There was a kid doing a wheelie on the MUP with his parents(!) riding right behind him. He was heading right for me, so I screamed at him to "PUT IT DOWN" and Dad screamed obscenities back at me. You can't teach stupid. Which reminds me, I gotta fix the horn on the Tesoro.

We have a Park wheel stand and dish tool on another bench. This would be for tune-up truing. No need to pull the tire/tube for a touch up.
