    Magnum battery connector

Does any one with knowledge of 48v Magnum batteries know what type of connector is used at the charge port? I would like to get one to make a "pig tail" to do quick voltage checks w/o removing the battery. I just don't know the type and name for a female connector. ?Thanks

First Battery Use: Drain It Entirely?

Good advice... I just checked my 48v battery and it was 53.8 volts. I purposely took a short ride last night to shave some voltage off. Question is ... do I go for the 80% of 48 volts or 80 % of what the charger will bring it up to ~54v ? Please help this confused old man. Thanks:oops:

Bike frame adapter bar for bike rack

I bought a Saris bar to use on my work stand for my bike (Magnum Ui6 lowstep). It will definitely hold the weight of my bike but....I would be very nervous about hanging it from a rear bike rack on a vehicle. These bike are heavy as you know. Good Luck?

    Attaching My Taillight

In the past on conventional bikes I've needed to make a flat spot to attach reflectors on a rack. I made a piece of thick plexiglass to size needed, drilled appropriate holes, then attached with black zip ties. Worked for me....? Good Luck!

    Magnums and rain?

Hi all, As a new e biker and Magnum Ui6 owner I was wondering how concerned should I be if I get caught in a moderate rain? I've been blessed with 200 sunny miles so far and I know wet is comming some day. I know a good wipe down will be in order but are there any other issues of concern? Thanks?

    Bearing maintenance

This is mainly to the ebikers that have ridden 1000+ miles. I am a e bike newbie and I was wondering when you do major bearing maintenance(BB, wheels ,and head set). Are e bikes harder on the hardware? These e bike are the best thing ever. I have a Magnum Ui6. Thanks:)
