    Creo 2 vs Cervelo Rouvida

    I reckon there’ll be a road-focused Creo 2.

I spent lots of my life in “army green”…not seeing it!

I’ve seen it in person. Nobody who sees it will see it as anything other than black.

I feel the same way. I just finished a ride in the last half hour and the bike continues to delight me. I didn’t get mine delivered until mid November, but it was worth the wait. I’m closing in on 800km so far. I’d buy it again tomorrow.

My LBS ordered my Comp the day before official announcement because they knew I wanted a Creo but had issues with the tire max size and a few other things. I was happy they did. The store owner also got an S-Works and to my knowledge we are the only two people for a long way around that managed...

Each to their own but much as I loved my S-Works Diverge I got SO BORED of it and so many other bikes being black.

Bingo - I’ve got the Comp and absolutely love it. I’m adding the 3.3 up front soon and will upgrade the wheelset this year. Still a massive saving and no carbon crank arms to replace when they get chunks knocked out of them!

With any luck you’ll have more colour choices than just black.

Anything you can do to lower your centre of gravity over loose ground helps; it’s also useful just to make sure the seat is low enough not to continually punch you in the balls over rougher stuff. Would I prefer it to be a longer drop? Probably. Does it still help? Yes.

This mirrors my experience. I chose the Comp because the Apex components are functionally identical to Rival, and a whole lot cheaper to replace. I’ll be adding the Futureshock 3.3, the range extender and a better wheelset in due course (I’ll almost certainly go Enve for their incredible...

    Creo 2 vs Cervelo Rouvida

you can choose what you see on the top tube - and that includes seeing almost nothing at all. The app lets you decide on which screens you can cycle through by clicking both blips at the same time, and you can use “stealth” mode which dims the display significantly. I barely look at it as I...

    Creo 2 vs Cervelo Rouvida

The fact you have to go to a dealer for a firmware update to take advantage of the flip chip is ridiculous - and it’s limited to a far smaller tire size. The Creo 2 takes up to a 2.2”.

    Creo 2 vs Cervelo Rouvida

Put a different wheelset on it (min 35mm rubber) and it’ll absolutely rip as a road bike. It pushes along at 40km/h on our crappy NZ tar sealed roads on the stock 47mm tires without any problem whatsoever.

I really need to change that bio…we have lived in NZ for a long time now!

The UV here is incredibly strong and it makes colours in foliage pop in really weird ways. The bush up there is a mixture of native NZ and managed forest (mostly pine). Rotorua, which is about a 4hr drive north from us, has a huge redwood forest which was planted over a century ago and would...
