Thanks for this - IMHO this should be the default setup!

Could you possibly post a photo if you get a chance? My bike was all set up prior to my collecting it so I never had any input on where the buttons would go.

I’d only worry about grit and whatnot getting trapped and wrecking my paintwork. Not sure I’d worry about anything more structural.

Mostly faster and easier cleaning. I haven’t bought the kit yet so I’ll see how it goes.

I think I’m going to invest in getting the bike ride-wrapped before much longer.

It did, but they came off with a touch of degreaser. It’s just the slightly rough finish that holds onto the oil or whatever I think. It does come off but it’s not as easy to just wipe down as a gloss finish would be.

I love the colour…but beware the oil staining it can suffer. Being a matte finish it’s quite a bit more work to clean (for me anyway).

Awesome. Out of curiosity, why the flat pedals? How are you going with the range extender? I got mine last week but I’ve been away so haven’t had a chance to test it yet.

I just had a look at those, and at first glance they appear to be exactly the same fender as the Specialized ones I just got for the Creo 2 - I suspect there's an OEM/rebadging thing going on there. The front fender at least appears to be identical.

The Creo 2 manual is extremely specific to that frame. Although the back wheel def needs to come off, it looks pretty straightforward. We shall see!

It’s all about how much you have to carry on your back while crossing it, and how quickly you have to do it haha

Are these reviews for fenders on the original Creo or the Creo 2? I got a sort of zipped semi-rigid case with my bike containing all the manuals, the charger, and a boatload of bits and pieces including the seat stay bridge and so on.

Did you get supplied a seat stay bridge to use? Other than that, attaching the DryTech fenders looks pretty standard to me.

I'm just looking at the installation guide on the Creo 2 workbook right now. It doesn't look to bad, but having a stand and removing wheels is going to be essential. I'd probably only anticipate keeping them on about 2 months a year.

I’ve bought the Specialized fenders recommended for the bike, but haven’t fitted them yet as we are still in NZ summer. My hope is that taking them on and off won’t be too big a hassle. I’ve found that the matte finish on my Comp is holding only oil marks in quite a stubborn way and it’s...

Nice. I agree on the spaghetti; the cables are a bit of a mess. It would be great to see what you’ve done with all that when it’s finished.

I sat on the front of a group on the road at a pretty constant 35km/h yesterday for an hour after 2 hours on gravel. It rides very nicely indeed as a road bike.
