Why can't a DR be mounted at 9 o'clock if needed?

Thanks Guys 6z I carry spare hangers for the Juggs 4 bike, I have gotten so, when I hang a DR up, I just change the hanger, I won't straighten that one, not worth the time. ($25 per pop), On the Wart hog, when I snag the sage brush, the whole DR arm is mangled, as the DR is attached to a 1/2"...

Why can't a DR be mounted at 9 o'clock if needed?

A little history here to provide more info, on the above question. My first love is riding wild horse/cow trails cross country, the major problem is the rear derailleur keep getting bent/destroyed by the Sage brush that is along side these trails. I have replaced at least 3 different DR, and...

PED Why do you say, "The rims are too wide to begin with for 4 inch tires."? What size/width are those rims? My Wart Hog has 4.00" wide rims O/S with 4.5" tires, and the Juggs 4 has 2.250" wide rims with 3" wide tires. Tia,

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

GR I looked at the photo, even enlarged up and it is hard to tell if there is a block where the White multi strand cable is/on the dividing wall that has the 2 screw holes, (just below the Bafang name). Is there a gasket that seals this dividing wall? I have all the OEM gaskets for this motor...

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

Question for you all, "The Ultra is not a sealed unit and the controller electronics don't have much of a barrier between them and the gears." Can the Ultra be sealed to contain the CH grease within the gear box and not leak into where it is NOT needed or wanted? Note: I have not opened...

    A possible way....?

Mr Coffee I like that item, (Have them on my ATV), and they work very well, but all my bikes have 11" tall mirrors at the end of the hand grips, I don't ride around here without mirrors (On the county roads). Do these Pogies come with zippered slots for these type of items mounted on the HB? Tia

    A possible way....?

Guys/Gals I have been thinking about adding these to the bikes, so I can reduce the glove bulkiness ( US Military Lobster Claw types), the average weather temps are into the low teens to 40* during the day times, but with cold North winds normally. https://www.ebay.com/itm/365254551682...

    Never see this before....

Chargeride I was thinking the same thing, maybe adding one to my trail riding bikes, sage brush eats derailleurs. Does this derailleur use a thumb type shifter or a twister shifter, I have found some new ones in 6-7 speed models. I am still looking for the 8/9 speeds. Tia
