    RadCity 16 or 20?

I have put mostly road miles so far with just a small stretch of a wide trail. I think if I get on a tight single track I might have to drop down on the front ring to slow this beast down. lol I'm 64 and don't want to be banging off and into trees at 10-12 mph.

    RadCity 16 or 20?

Yes , I started with a used Ezip Trailz a couple of years ago and sold it this spring. Could not decide which route to take so I finely put a BBSHD from Luna Cycle on my Giant Yukon. I can see why people have multiple e-bikes, they are rather addicting. Now I'm looking at a fat bike and have...

Recommend a DIY kit source for my 1st build please

I too was a motorcyclist and thought I wanted a twist throttle. A nice gentleman over on the Luna forum pointed out that these are not motorcycles and a twist throttle could get you in trouble when walking the bike around, etc.. I took his advice with my BBSHD build and agree with the logic...

    Hub motors

I had the same thoughts John about a scooter. Even a nice Yamaha Zuma could be had for 1000 - 1500. But then I wanted to be able to ride off road trails as well as regular bike paths. No can do with a scooter. I'm in the process of building my Giant Yukon with the Luna Cycle hhshd with 48 volt...

    DIY without the DIY

I know you guys can't hold my hand and lead me,BUT !! If I could go to my local bike shop and pluck down 1000 or 1200 or what ever I would have done this month's ago,but sending someone or a business this amount kind of makes me nervous ... I guess I worry way to much but just need a little...

    DIY without the DIY

If I purchase a BBSHD from Luna and tell them what kind of rider I am will they program accordingly ? If I do any off-road, I definitely want to be as mellow as possible. ( 63 years old but loves the out doors )

    DIY without the DIY

Thank you George S.!! Since I have been following this forum I have always respected your advice and opinions. For the price and utility of the Mini it might not be a bad choice. After reading some of the other DIY posts I also like the fact that I could always go back to stock and not have to...

    DIY without the DIY

Boy fella's ! I sold my Ezip Trailz this spring with the intent of moving up. Every time I am a fraction away from doing something I read a post and change my mine. I really thought I was ready for a RadMini . It was something I could take camping and everyone could ride. Then I read about some...

    My new rad rover!!!!

Thank you Vincent !! Great feed back. I sold my Ezip Trailz this spring to move onward and upwards ... It had both pas and throttle. I agree 100% on the pas in traffic... I told myself my next ebike will definitely have both !!!!!

    My new rad rover!!!!

I'm 5'7 and was wondering about the frame size. We're you riding with zero power at all ? Wondering about the drag if you got stuck miles from home and had to pedal all by yourself. Glad you are happy with your purchase !!!

GeoOrbital Wheel promises to make your normal bike electric in 60 seconds

I guess all my procrastinating might have paid off this time.. I couldn't make up my mind on hub vs. mid-drive or diy or factory built ... I think this will be a winner

    eBike future support?

I always liked the idea of a electric pusher trailer. There seems to me a lot of advantages. Swap from bike to bike, use a regular bike carrier and put the trailer in the trunk, if the battery or motor takes a crap you still have a perfectly good bike. I keep wondering what Ridekick has run into...

    Converting Into Ebike

Hi George ! Are all the Goldens DD or do they make geared ?? Would you consider a 7 to 10 % grade about one fourth to a half a mile long steep ? Do you think either of the ones you ride would get over heated on the hills I mentioned ??
