To what extent you will find the higher priced 5.0 worth the money is hard for me to say. With the Vado 5.0 you get the most powerful motor in the Vado line-up, Specialized 1.3. The difference between 1.2 motor in Vado 4.0 and 1.3 isn’t night and day but there is a difference. Vado 4.0 owners...

That’s my conclusion too. The Bloks display removable with just a twist, the TCD isn’t. And also the the removable Bloks display was not stopping anyone from riding away with your bike. I tried my 2018 Vado 4.0 without the display it worked fine.

I wonder if any of our ebikes will attract wealthy collectors in 60 years from now 😀
